    Yummy, i absolutely LOVE pad-see-ew & you made it look soo easy to make. I dont have rice noodles, are they absolutely necessary or could i substitute for chow mein or spaghetti/ lasagna noodles...or would it change the flavor dramatically? I understand those 2 aren't flat but I'd be more worried of flavor vs appearance.

      Please use Rice noodle if you could find it. Rice noodle is ideal for this recipe. Taste will be different if you use normal egg noodles or Italian noodles.

      The dried rice noodles can be found in most supermarkets, not just in Asian grocery stores.

    Khin, this looks absolutely amazing! Thank you for making this dish look so ready to prepare. I have everything out and need to go out to the supermarket to get some chicken thighs and Chinese broccoli 🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤
    How many servings does this make?

    • @KhinsKitchen
      @KhinsKitchen  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Sorry for the late reply. It's for 2 serving. I hope you enjoyed making it 😊

      @@KhinsKitchen, the main thing is that you answered it 🤗
      It turned out fantastic by the way 🥰😍
      There was a comment here somewhere that mentioned the noodles sticking together. Run it under cold water and they should separate just separate with minimal effort. Otherwise cook the noodles last.
      Thank you, once more 🤓🥢👍

    This was really interesting but I am in a very rural area. I can’t find three or four different soya sauces. What should I do instead please?

  • @LydiaExplores
    @LydiaExplores 3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

    What are the differences between all the soy sauces and do we have to use all 3?

    • @KhinsKitchen
      @KhinsKitchen  3 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      Hi Lydia, Light soy sauce is saltier, thinner texture and used mostly in sauces and marinades.
      Dark soy is thick, bold, less salty and dark in colour. Used mostly in food colour and flavour.
      Sweet soy sauce has sweet taste unlike from the other two. Its used to bring both sweet, savory flavour and for food colour too.

    This looks so good. Whats the difference between pad see ew and drunken noodles?

    • @KhinsKitchen
      @KhinsKitchen  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Drunken noodle is a bit spicier and different types of vegetable used in drunken noodle.

    Whas that chicken thighs or breast that you were cutting at the beginning of the video?
    And for how long should you keep the chicken marinated?

    My noodle always stick together

    • @KhinsKitchen
      @KhinsKitchen  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Drizzle a bit of oil after you drain the noodle that prevents sticking the noodle. That makes the life easier.

    • @IsaKocoglu
      @IsaKocoglu ปีที่แล้ว

      I came across this comment before I followed Khin’s instructions, and used oil. They still ended up sticking. Into a great big ball of cooked rice noodles. *Running the stick cooked noodles under cold water and helping them separate with your fingers works almost immediately to separate them all.*

    How not cook but not breaking the noodles

    • @KhinsKitchen
      @KhinsKitchen  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Do not boil the noodles for so long and cook with high heat when you mix the noodles with other ingredients. Thank you so much for watching Robin.
