      Hi Andrew,
      Great review💪 I want to include vertimax training in my routine. However, I’m from Europe where you can’t buy a vertimax platform. that’s why I was wondering whether you can use this platform from gonex for vertimax exercises.

    Just letting y’all know black band is 30lbs and orange band is 50lbs you get 2 of each band

    I'm looking to get this gonex, body boss or fusion motion why did you decide on this one you think it is better for men? Also what is the max resistance for dead lift or squats? Would you say this would be good for someone that wants to get into athletic dunking shape again?

      Juan! This was actually sent to me to review so I didn't necessarily *pick* it out!
      As shown in the video, the *weight* can be adjusted based on how you loop the bands through the different hooks on *Gonex Gym Base!*
      I think this can be a solid alternative to buying weights and waiting on those long shipping delivery dates! This and some plyometrics can go a long way during quarantine!

    Hey Andrew, I am doing myself a new training program, and I do not know what to put on leg day. I want to jump higher and therefore put these exercises:
    Heavy barbell squats (on box) 4: 4
    Heavy Deadlift x box jump 4: 6
    Heavy Jumping of the knees 3: 6
    What do you think can be added and what can be removed? Thanks in advance

    Very good review. I had my reservations about this. I don’t need a full bobdybuilding gym session each time, I just want to ensure I have some weight/resistance training in addition to my cardio. This seems to be the way to go.

      Thank you! I enjoy the balance of weight training and band resisted exercises like this so even with a full weight room, I do take a few days a week and dedicate them to exercises like this - really solid on the joints and better resistance for the muscles!

      I am not sure on how to get the manual that goes along with this! There may be some images of it online if you Google it! If not, I'd reach out to customer service! The manual does help a lot!

    Is it possible to do the bench exercise with the gonex portable home gym?

      If you'd place it underneath the legs of an actual bench or even a chair then possibly! I hit the low chest with different exercises while standing up, though!

      I'm sure as long as it as hooks like these resistance bands then you'd be able to! I never thought of that but it'd probably work!

    What do you eat for snacks and how often do you eat something unhealthy

      For snacks I'll eat popcorn, raisins, clementines, sunflower or pumpkin seeds, yogurt, sweet potato fries.. off the top of my head!! I ty to keep a cheat meal to once every Saturday at about 3PM and if I have anything bad Sunday, I'll do it early and limit calorie intake for the rest of the day. If I cheat on Friday night then I have to "walk it off" early on Saturday morning so I try to be good until Saturday🥴

    It appears to me that you are not really working your muscles until you reach full extension of the bands. Something is wrong. It appears that the bands are to long for the base.

      I had the bands loose so that I could demonstrate the exercises without actually "maxing out" the band capacity/ resistance.
      If you watched the video then you probably saw the section where you can look the band through the other hooks in the base so that you can add more resistance!
      Again, just for the *Review Video* and for demonstration purposes, I did keep some slack on the bands!

    I much prefer the Max Fit Pro and supplement a few bands.

    Dude, you don't squat on your tippy toes. Lol. Keep your heals on the ground. you are going to tear up your knees. And the pushup u were doing is called a pike push up. It's done in a pike position. (Not a spike push up.)

      I agree, dude!! I just responded to a comment like this earlier today! Didn’t fully warm up for the demonstration and I don’t squat below parallel barefoot so it did look rough! Mixed up the names so that’s my fault - can’t correct it now😅
      I can box squat 545lbs. and squat 405lbs. *correctly* as well!
      I have 0 knee pain when I train and incorporate knee pain/ jumpers knee pain prevention type of warmups in all of my training🙂
      The main point here is the versatility of the system in reviewing🙂

    I brought this I can’t wait to use to on Christmas it’s a gift for me and my girl so we don’t have to spend money on the gym can you buy more resistances for this brands to add more pounds on it

      That's awesome that you bought it!! I'm sure you can buy other resistance bands but I'm not 100% sure if *Gonex* offers other bands.
      The resistance bands are solid in and of themselves, but the mat with the hooks are designed specifically to add and take away resistance - like I showed in the video!!
      It is tougher in the beginning to adjust it and know where to put the hooks and which hooks to loop it through for the perfect resistance but after a few uses, it becomes really quick and easy to adjust!

      I did some of these workouts without warming up and I just hit legs the day before😅
      Feel free to check out some of my other videos where I squat 405lbs. to slightly below parallel or my 545lb. Box Squat!

      Would probably just have to use a band that's "lighter" in resistance so that you can still perform the exercises but since the resistance band will be so stretched out, it will still be pretty solid resistance.
