We have 2 dogs and a cat that we didn't arrive with. One is a Bulgarian Shepherd. She wasn't going to stay with us but our other dogs, we also have a Rottweiller, took to her. All of the strays came to us, the cat, Charlie, would not have made it through the night. If you can take on a stray, it is worth it.

Oh my, nikki, you're hilarious. Such great story telling. I laughed so much. That dog sounded very much like Tucker. Thank you so much for saving her! And I love duolingo. I still remember the first sentence it taught me in Dutch. "Ik ben een banaan" i am a banana. And that was long before it was socially acceptable to identify as fruit.
You'd do great on short form content by the way.

@@Bulgaria_Bucharest 😂😂😂 they're the shorts and reels and tiktoks. They're usually filmed in portrait screen, short witty, engaging. So you might have to make ten of them to cover your points

@@outliersbulgaria Ah, okay. I don't generally use tiktok because I end up down weird rabbit holes that take hours to emerge from, but I think I'm getting to grips with "the short"

Our beautiful boy, Buster, was dumped by a very elderly woman with a walking stick who carried him to the land at the back of our house in a carrier bag and then dumped him. Luckily, I saw what happened and went to check and found a little scrap of a german shepherd covered in over 100 ticks, and fleas. He was only 3 months old, but we lost him 2 years ago this month at the age of 12 (miss him so much).
He always growled at people with walking sticks though - no idea why!
We found Bulgarian men always speak to Darren, rather than me, very sexist, but like your Chris, Darren always says speak to Nikki about whatever.

I strongly suspect that the first time we drive over we will have more dogs before we even get to the village!

Bulgarian is completely different to English. If you need a referral point, Bulgarian has much more similarities to Italian and Spanish.

English is a world apart from a lot of other European languages, its so hard for us because that commonality isn't there.
