Here is Day 6 of our Scottish trip! Second half of the day!! 🏴
We filled our bellies at the Tea on the Shee in the Cairngorms and then we travelled across the way to Furnace, stopping off at Iain Burnett's Highland Chocolatier along the route 🍫
Once we made it to our STUNNING Accommodation - The Powder Mills, we took a trip to the nearest town for food Inveraray... well, Mike rode and I hopped on as pilly.. this girl wanted a cocktail damn it🤣🍸
Hope you enjoy it and can forgive me for being gross drinking the thick melted chocolate 🤦♀️

Great to see our weekend bike roads from another perspective, Glenshee down to Blairgowrie is like a rollercoaster and the Tyndrum to Oban road has to be one of the best bike roads going for continuous left and rights. Cracking video content once again Kate and Mike 😎🏴🏍

Cracked GoPro lens gives an upsdie down view of the sky. Depending on where you are gives you double value if there is good weather and blue skies. Doesn't seem to have done your singing voice much harm either! YMCA indeed!

Another entertaining vlog Kate. I wouldn't have bothered to much about the cracked lens, it didn't detract from the trip In any way. I know what you mean about the chocolate place, I'm the same with the prices in those places, unfortunately, an hour later you think 'I should have bought some'. As for the u-turn thing, I've been riding bikes for 47 years or so and, I'm still crap doing them! 🤣.
Brill days riding, and lovely to see some familiar roads and landmarks. The hotel looked brill, and your nosh too... not so sure about the cheese burger though! :D haha

I'm sure I let you pass me on the A85 once you came down it from Tyndrum. I was in my Log truck. It didn't show it on the video but I think it was after the 20min mark of your video, it was seeing you 2 that gave me a kick-start to get a new bike after a few years away from it, I git an R1200rt, cheers, im loving the videos, im only 16 miles up the road from where you stayed at furnace

I’ve not had a trip to Scotland for a lot of years. The great scenery and fantastic roads have always been there (the roads haven’t always been there but you know what I mean). BUT, seeing the QUIET roads makes me think I should try to make time for another visit. Keep up the great work, Alan.

That’s a good days riding there, the A85 when you left the Green Welly a few years back was allegedly the most dangerous road in the UK ( something to do with off cambers and the number of corners If I remember correctly, there may be other reasons

Have you ever tried to clip your gopro to the windscreen for forward facing video? I read somewhere yesterday some had done that and it worked out nicely. spring is coming might get a gopro prior to the riding weather months so thinking of a good way to mount it without some piece I know will get stolen here, 100%

In my town we don’t have a Green Willy’s but we did have a Dick:s Tower. Unfortunately the Tower was knocked down to build a senior citizen facility so the good times of Dick’s Tower have fallen on to flaccid times.

Nice video! Do feel any difference when riding the r1250gs compared to the r1200gs?
Yea, the r1250gs is a bit more refined and feels a bit 'tighter' all round. But that's not the say the 1200 isnt still super enjoyable 😊
