I was looking at it as what characters have unique gimmicks that could be worked into a moveset. Most of them are unique to them as well, there aren’t many other characters that could share that gimmick which makes that character unique. Hopefully that makes sense!
I think audrey would be dope, tho you'd have to figure out a moveset that fits him as a small character and as a giant character at the same time and still keep him balanced
The blood droplets concept sounds cool, although depictions of blood may be a little too violent for Multiversus. There should be a way around that, like for instance having blood being depicted on-screen as drop-shaped red gems for the player to collect. I would also remove the plant pot impediment from the start so that Audrey II can walk by itself from the start. It may not depict its base form accurately to the source material, but I think it would be fair in terms of gameplay; none would play a character that can't physically move in a 1v1 (or free for all) scenario and having a moveset designed specifically for 2v2 feels very limited
Here are a couple characters I could think of that would bring interesting and unique mechanics: Spear and Fang (Primal): Maybe by default you could have Spear riding Fang And have them attack together, but you could have Spear mount and unmount fang to change movesets. While on Fang, the duo would do more damage, but be slower and have less range. While off Fang, Spear would do less damage but be faster, and have more range due to the stationary Fang attacking when he does. Chase McCain (LEGO City Undercover): Not sure if he counts as a WB character, but I'm pretty sure LEGO has a partnership with Warner, so I'll count it. In LEGO City Undercover Chase has several disguises that grant him different abilities, so I purpose that be his mechanic. Maybe he has an option wheel tied to one of his moves, like Shulk's Manato Arts in Smash, and each disguise changes his moveset slightly. Maybe he could have his farmer outfit give him a slow fall and the ability to shoot eggs, or maybe a theif's outfit that gives him better dodges and a paint gun to slow down foes. Beetlejuice: Everybody knows Beetlejuice is probably coming to this game at some point and has a lot of potential, but I did think of an idea for a mechanic I haven't seen anyone bring up. Maybe if you perform a long enough combo or deal a certain amount of damage, small text that says "Beetlejuice" will appear on screen, and if you can get this to appear 3 times he will get a temporary buff to his stats, implying he's been unleashed in the real world and is gaining full control. I don't think this is that nessarcy, but it could be cool.
I really love the Chase McCain idea you came up with. It would be so cool if they decided to do that. These are some really cool and well thought out ideas!
There are a few characters with 5 or more different movesets, but I don't think it's ever been in a platform fighter, but in traditional fighting games there are plenty of stance fighters with a ton of stances.
My favorite idea is the iZombie girl, although I would alter her passive. When she or her teammate defeats an opponent, she inherits that enemy's side special, and it does 20% more damage. She can use that move 3 times before it reverts to her normal zombie lunge. Why side special? Because Arya already copies neutral. Why only 3 times? Because Arya can only use her copied neutral once, BUT she can use it multiple times per life while Liv has to get a KO so it's stronger for being more situational. Why is her normal side b a zombie swipe? Because a zombie should be a bruiser, getting up close with melee attacks.
Nicole Watterson could bring a beserrker mode. Double D could send out directionally controlled projectiles much like Ness and even turn himself into a projectile "NOT SAFE NOT SAFE" (What is double D without slapstick and regret). Grim could throw his own head and play with hitboxes and controlling head and body separately at the same time. Numbuh 1 from KND would be a great metroidvania style character with an array of 2x4 weapons to flick between. Raven from Teen Titans could use her powers on other projectiles and pieces of stages to throw back at the enemy (here's hoping!), a Monstar could pancake opponents like the chicken/Reindog transformations, a third party character like Nadia from Russian Doll could die clumsily as her attacks and reset to where she started inputting the attack once it's done, having her fight time whilst fighting you (probably screaming OATMEAL). Butcher as a third party character could work building stunlocks and specifically nerfing special moves to enforce normal move combat (take that supes), smurfs could be the tiniest character, very vulnerable but very hard to hit, Princess Bubblegum could play with invisibility and shield mechanics, Danaerys Targarian could also play with the "grows throughout the match" gimmick with her dragons, Janet from the good place could be an idea for a character based around intense RNG for item spawning. There's so much moveset variety potential that lines up with how characters exist in their shows. Multiversus has also been very good at specifically this.

A character I think has a lot of potential for Multiversus is Prince Ivandoe (and his loyal squire Bert). Ivandoe could have moves where he makes a boast, falls on his face and eats a turnip to heal, but Bert could add alot of dimension to his kit. I think you (the player) should be able to collect feathers that add to a counter, and if you're at a certain percent and (parry, shield special, I'm not really sure) a powerful move, than Bert will do something to save Ivandoe from certain doom. The amount of feathers you have indicating the extent to which Bert saves you.
I've grown tired of the mindset that a character's moveset potential should be taken into consideration more than iconography and appeal, but I feel it's just the result of certain characters getting in that are carried hard by gimmicks and don't have much else in terms of being fun. However, if a gimmick is pulled off well, than the rewards will be more bountiful in my opinion. Audrey II's blood mechanic is great, it fits the character well and could make her a more villainous parallel to the Iron Giant. However having blood openly in this game doesn't sit right with me, although I couldn't imagine this moveset without it. I already did a tirade on Ben 10 in the last video but I'll try to do a different spin on it. Have each class have a certain set of aliens to it, like Diamondhead and Cannonbolt could both be part of a Tank moveset, Wildmutt and XLR8 could both be in an Assassin moveset, the list would go on plenty from here. Olivia seems like a good place to have the standard rage gimmick/install show up, but the idea of her buffing in certain areas depending on what brain she gets a bite out of is cool. Of course, it's a lot more reasonable than what I propose Ben having. Faun's Mandrake gimmick I could see being him putting it down and having to feed it over time, making him do something like an escort mission as his core loop. Having fairies as puppet characters is novel, especially if there are going to be more than 1 on-screen at a time. The only other puppet fighter we have is Tom and Jerry, so I feel there's more we could do with the concept. Jouster (I'm calling him that because it sounds cool) could be a very creative fighter, and another good use of stance-changing. Despite loving Fire Emblem way too much, Smash Bros never gave us a Pegasus rider so this could fill the void. The ostrich is the faster one but the pegasus is the stronger one, basic and simple. But that simplicity isn't really a bad thing. Arthur's gimmick fits him moreso than Finn, especially since you have it structured in a more natural way. Honestly, this is how I would've designed Mr. Krabs. I'll say it before and I'll say it again: Dodger's pickpocket move is genius. I don't know how it would work programming-wise, but I could see it disabling certain moves characters use. To make it a little less harsh, say whenever Dodger steals a prop, any move involving that prop would not work, but instead the opponent would dodge in place. This would give Dodger a solution to one problem but open up another. Emmet and Maxwell could basically do anything, and a character who's only limited by imagination itself is very hard to make satisfying. I could see Emmet placing down LEGO platforms and walls like Steve, and Maxwell could buff opponents by putting adjectives on them.

I think what you brought up about Ben would be awesome. Having Aliens be different classes would make a lot of sense in my opinion. I think that dodgers pick pocket move making the opponent not be able to use the item he stole would be neat, but it also may need to be thought out a bit more. Say he stole Jason’s axe. He has multiple moves using the axe, so how do you determine what Dodger stole? It’s just little things like that. I’m sure the devs think about them.

Bro Ben 10 is far from the most requested character One character sits up far higher on that throne than anyone else and that title goes to Walter White.
There are people who take all of the requests in the Multiversus discord server and add them up. It still is being updated. Currently, Ben is in first, Walter is in second, Mordecai and Rigby are in third and fourth, and the animaniacs are in fifth. That is what I am referencing.
I think it would best to pull most of the moveset for Olivia from the actual comic book iZombie since it is DC could probably have the live action look as another variant like with Black Adam and The Rock
I think scooby doo would be unique right? Considering he’s the first 4 legged fighter (I don’t count Tom and Jerry because they stand most of the time)
