At 5:12, I guess this not the only reason, this is mainly to escape the rotation of back wheel when your two wheeler is on middle stand while testing or repairing.

romeo o.m it's obvious digital gives u perfect reading than analog where u have to guess the speed when the needle is between ex 20 to 25 , u have to guess ur speed
