I really enjoyed this review - Very well explained and easy to understand, I learnt things about my Kronos that I didn’t know and I hope you will do more please. You are easy to listen to, good to watch as the camerawork was excellent and the content was interesting. Thank you.
I am confident and convinced that this is the best Workstation in the world. Karma, importing VSTs, wow just Sickallicious 😎. Great Demo! Overview 💯💯💯💯
As far as I know, I have the 5th 73 key Kronos in Canada and I think it's the best keyboard in the world! She may be 6 years old now but she still kicks major ass over anything else out there!
Thank you very much for that informative video! I bought a Kronos x years ago and didn't know the stuff that you showed in your tutorial.... Now I'm inspired to start making music again thank you kudos to you sir!
I love my kronos. I have no problem spending the same now as when they came out. A world class instrument, and not just in the synthesizer/keyboard category. This board can move mountains.
Impressive as it gets, Steve, but how many weeks of painstaking 8 hour days with the manual did it take before you got within light years of that much facility w/that complex machine?
Hi, I have one question please , I have an Korg Kronos LS, which has a very short touch, and on the Pianos there is too much attack. My question how to modify the attack of the notes? on my side I modified the Velocity in Global mode, I put it on 3, but it's still too hard and on 2 too light. I was told that we couldn't change the Pianos attack. thanks for your advices
They are way overdue for a new machine. It’s been like 10Yrs. You have the Montage now, which I think they flopped horribly when it comes to technology & now the Roland Fantom which is a beast, so Korg I’m hoping I’ll announce something in @ Namm. Of and bring Rich Formidoni back to the Korg Family.
Jonathan Budipranoto Awesome. I have some good headphones and was able to get it working. I eventually would like to get a monitor is there Pacific time you would recommend? I am just playing for my own pleasure so I don’t need anything to fancy I wouldn’t think
@@solved3x3 i personally would recommend a descent pair of studio monitor, in case you want to go into music production in the future. Yamaha is good ( the hs series or msp's ). If u opted for pricier pair, check out adam or focal. Hope this helps, Caitlin.
The LS is essentially the Kronos 2 with a different keybed. It's semi-weighted. The LS is also lighter than the normal K2 for portability. It does not have aftertouch, though. It will recognize external aftertouch signals.
I have a Korg LS, I am really disappointed by the touch of this instrument, I should have bought the normal Kronos, thank you for telling me how to set the attack on the Pianos, I set the Velocity on 3 in " global mode "but that is not enough for me, in 4 too much and in 2 too light how to settle the attack of the Pianos? thank you
Just took the plunge on a Kronos LS & the good stuff takes care of itself, there's 1000 times more micro-editing capabilities than I'll ever need...BUT..I have one criticism. Drum patterns = BEATS! They're hard to access, played down, & Korg takes it WAY too for-granted that you're just coincidentally going to like the pattern they arbitrarily assign to patterns & combis. Wish they'd made it easier to navigate to patterns AKA BEATS! Even You Tube "tutes" neglect these essential features!
Or you could be using it according to it's purpose as a arranger/workstation keyboard. There are people who aren't using it to entertain but arrange. They may have a specific workflow that is foreign to you. If you actually watched what he was doing in the video, you can see what he trying to accomplish. We're not in the 1950s. Yes, if you're just playing keyboards or have an old fashioned arranger workflow, you don't need to assign chords to keys or pads.
Don't expect the piano to sound like that from the box, it's very dry. If you don't know how to tweak and program, you're screwed. Very convoluted system.
Kronos is hands down the best workstation out. It has excellent options for making and producing music. Like any keyboard of this nature , you have to learn its operating system and style or modes. Now rhere is another option, the roland fantom which works based on scenes no menus, everything is at your fingertips.

Great demo. Like many who have commented, I had no idea my Kronos could do some of these things!

Impressive as it gets, Steve, but how many weeks of painstaking 8 hour days with the manual did it take before you got within light years of that much facility w/that complex machine?
definitely need a degree in rocket science to figure that out😅

How much is Kronos 2 Korg now? 88 keys ... workstation
New

Unfortunately the Kronos has only a 3-band EQ whereas the Korg M-50 has 4 band. Great production quality and instruction, thumbs up.
Solid content.
Bravo
Is the Korg Kronos 2 the Flagship Model and is it a very recent model, does it have many Arpeggiators.
No arpeggiator, just karma.
Do I need some kind of audio output??? All I have is the power and sustain pedal cables. No sound.... help
Hi caitlin, yes you do need audio output ( monitor speakers or keyboard amplifier). Descent headphone will do as well. Hope this helps.
Jonathan Budipranoto Awesome. I have some good headphones and was able to get it working. I eventually would like to get a monitor is there Pacific time you would recommend? I am just playing for my own pleasure so I don’t need anything to fancy I wouldn’t think

@@paulallenMacca yes, at the moment it's korg flagship workstation , and yup, lots of arpeggiator.
How about the kronos Ls? What's the different with the korg kronos 2 or kronos x?

Would en great if you, who ever you are, do more this kind of Utility, great and clear, how you did .

sky bliz I can’t afford it but I’ve been saving for it so one day I’ll have it. Probably a year from now.
And where is the Kronos Review now ?
Is this a good starter keyboard? Probably not huh? But i bet it would provide endless hours of fun.
kimiko kasai!
ccomo comprar estos sonidos
If you need to assign chords you probably shouldn't be dropping 4k on a keyboard ...

Can i play 2 steps from hell and x-ray dog on it?
A lot talking and less playing
Marcos Aurélio dont be that guy....
