You are 100% right about mistakes. It’s normal to make mistakes, they are a natural part of the learning process. I’m sure a big reason why children learn so well is lack of caring when they make mistakes. Unfortunately the traditional classroom method tends to punish faults.

Yes totally, I agree. If adults could put their perfectionism aside, we would learn so much faster. On top of that, learning would be a much less stressful experience and instead something that you can laugh at yourself for when you make mistakes and congratulate yourself for when you achieve a small win.

    You are right :
In our life we have to make mistakes without making mistakes it's hardest to succeed if we are not making mistakes we are not taking risks if we are not taking risks we are not trying things that new enough or difficult enough that's means we are not growing in fact we gotta make a lot of mistakes we must laugh when we make mistakes"fail faster soon succeed" we should make mistakes and learn from them..thanks a lot.❤❤

Yeah, the point of spaced repetition is that it tells the brain that this is important. This human keeps returning to this task, so that break and then return is the dynamic that illicit's the brain to remember. While sleep is the activity that solidifies that mechanism because sleep is where our long term memory is developed.

    In regards to forgive yourself,
If we let go of judgment, then there will be nothing to forgive in the first place.
Let go of judgment and so too will leave pain, trauma, suffering, shame, anger, stress, etc

I saw some really interesting research about this. It said that the reason why children learn languages faster than adults is because they hear it all the time, and when they hear it it is often in an explanatory way. Thinking about it basically, kids hear language before they speak, and the same applies to adults, and hearing in an explanatory way is most effective.
So in essence, an animated cartoon fully in the target language, that demonstrates basic words/phrases in a way where you dont need to know the language to understand what sounds are being associated with what things, is the way our brains are hardwired to learn languages. We dont generally learn this way as adults, it is mostly textbooks, shows with subtitles, etc. and this is a very unnatural way to learn a language from our brains perspective

That is indeed interesting research, I have heard something similar before! Thanks for sharing! Do you happen to remember where you saw it? I would love to read more about it.

@@MethodMarcus I did a little digging for you, it is called Automatic Language Growth, the approach to language learning developed by Dr. J Marvin Brown. if you google his name + ALG you'll find some stuff on him, I also found a TH-cam video titled:
"ALG: The Most Unique Language Learning Method"

I don't begrudge 15+15 unless you are using something like Pimsleur which is 30 minutes long and meant to be done in that go. In this case I'd say move the reading the written words to later.
