My wife had her first ultrasound yesterday, and was told they could not locate a heartbeat. They then told her that the yolk sac and gestation sac seems irregular as well and that it looks like the fetus is looking at 6 weeks rather than the doctor stated "9 weeks".....we then were told that it is a miscarriage and the doctor then gave us 3 options to take. My wife does not have any miscarriage symptoms and the doctor never gave us the option to come back for another ultrasound just to be sure. Your story gives my wife and I hope and we are hanging on to whatever miracle out there to see if our pregnancy will turn out to be a success. Perhaps the doctor was wrong about the date...but thinking back, I do not why we were not told to get a blood test and come back another time for another ultrasound, which is worrying.
Thank God you didn't get the ab-rtion. I wouldn't go back to the OB who tried to pressure you into it. This happens all the time, ultrasounds can be wrong (speaking from personal experience).
Such a wonder story!! I am hoping to have the same outcome. Doctors don’t know where my baby is pregnancy of unknown location right now. My hcg level isn’t high enough to see anything. They are wanting me to get a shot or take the pill but I won’t until I know for sure. I still have many symptoms so hope my case will be like yours.🙏🏾❤️

I was believe there was no heartbeat at 6 weeks and they found one after 7 weeks. It was early, but I think their concern was how high my hormone levels were with no heartbeat
this give me hope! I am 5Wks pregnant and based on the ultrasound I only hove gestational sac. No yolk sac and Embryo. So the doctor asks me to come back after 2 weeks to do the Ultrasound again and another blood test to determine if the HCG is rising or not.
Im so scared i hope my outcome changes im devastatedand bf and i keep arguing because he teied to say if i am miscarrying its my fault. Past was i use to be a drug addict 10 years ago. 10! How is this my fault i told timw it can happen to anyone amd it couldve been because hormons r messed up feom stopping depo shot and also from a electeical cervical exsion. Im devastated and he just said hurtful things but thing is that he use to use steroids and it blaming me when 1 out of 4 woman miscarry. Im so hurt rn 😢. Been bleeding 5 days but tests r still positive so i wont know more till Tuesday pray my baby sticks and this is all just normal for my body.
How's everything going now that you're further along? I'm going through the same situation now except The doctor I went to doesn't check HGC levels and just wants me to wait two weeks for a follow-up ultrasound to rule out the Missed miscarriage that he diagnosed me with last week. This is completely agonizing.
I’m so sorry you’re going through that. I’m almost 24 weeks pregnant and I haven’t had any more bleeding or any issues. The baby is measuring a little ahead and the doctors have no concerns at this point!
I went in at 9 weeks. They are saying missed miscarriage. No heartbeat. No distinct yolk sac. GS measuring 18mm possible fetal pole measuring 5 mm. I’m also having to wait 2 weeks. It’s awful. Occasionally some bleeding with a little tissue and spotting but nothing major. 4 more days until the ultrasound. How did yours go?

Not your fault at all. Miscarriages are way more common than people think. I’ll be thinking about you ❤
