I learned why my one side was always off just a enough to have to straighten the right side. I appreciate your taking the time to teach me and help me lay my drills down better. Thank-you Carra for a great video.
I tried your tips last night and my multiplacing is already MUCH better! I feel like I won the lottery! As always, your videos are very helpful and fun to watch. Thank you so much for the help with multiplacing. ❤
This video was very helpful. I knew I didn’t have to put as many drills on the multi-placer as it would hold, but I didn’t know to angle it and anchor it off of a pre-existing drill if one was available.
I love the instructions. I’m working on a big canvas and I’ve been paranoid about putting my arms on the areas already done. It’s my first diamond art painting. 🙂
First your painting is beautiful. I needed this tutorial. The pivot point was so helpful. I was laying my drills down in the opposite direction vertically and almost always needed to be straightened out. Thank you for explaining horizontal snd vertical placement
LOVE this video! Just what I needed to get straighter lines both vertically and horizontally!!! (I'm still new to diamond art.) I LOVE square pieces, but the new tighter square drill field on my DAC canvased was messing with my lines... I slowed down, used your technique, and got the best results I've ever had!!! I thought slowing down and carefully placing would take more time, I actually finished my 4x4" section faster than ever!!!
@@theprincipalpainter I wish I could post a picture here; you would see a huge improvement in my piece. 🥰 I know I do!!! (I also use the DAC metal multi placers and they have been a huge game changer!)
OHHHH I love this painting. I've been thinking about getting it because I LOVE the geese, but I wasn't sure that I liked the entire image. Totally changed my mind here!
Thanks Carra really appreciate your video, I had to practice awhile to be able to vertical muliplace, but couldn’t seem to master horizontal at all, thank you so much for this tip, I’m going to try it out today!😊😊😊
I just wanted to say your video was super helpful especially for my mom. She said she thinks she can give multiplacing a try now. I’ve been multiplacing for a long time. I use the curved 16 placer.
Wow! You are a multiplacing queen! I don’t know if I’d ever be able to place with a 16 placer! Give me time though! Thanks so much for watching and I’m so glad it helped your mom!!💖💖
Great video Carra. I have been diamond painting for a little over 3 years now and I am always looking for new tips. I usually use my index finger to stabilize but then my finger gets sore. I will try some of your methods because I love to multiplace. I love this canvas. I didnt get it because I wasnt sure I was gonna like the color palette but yours sure is turning out beautiful!!
Thank you so much! The light effects on this canvas are beautiful too! We’ve been diamond painting for about the same time! I can’t believe it’s been 3 years already!💖💖
@theprincipalpainter I can't believe it's been 3 years either. Thank God for the diamond painting in 2020 because I don't know what would have done without it. Now I'm hooked!
I am a new DP’er and have watched tons of videos showing how to multi place. None worked for me. Your’s really clicked for me. I’m multi placing…yay!!! This is a game changer for me ❤
New at diamond art, only have done one diamond art, just started my 2nd one, want to learn how to multi place, will have to try multi placing, will have to buy me an eight placer pen, new to your channel
@@shelley2998 hi there! I’m so happy you are here!! It takes a bit of practice but if you take the time, multiplacing gets better and better and it gets so much easier! 💕💕💕
I have a question. This probably has more to do with DAC'S older canvases. I know with the new ones they have shrunken the drill field down so the drills sit closer. So my question is when multiplying with the older canvases, I find after placing several drills that my drills are not in the correct squares they sit kind of half in one and half in the other. So how do you multi place in that situation?
That is a great question! Let me grab an older canvas and try it out! I’ll see what you are talking about and see what I can come up with! We will figure it out!
Thank you for your video Carra! I found that the older canvases are better to multiplayer with the thin plastic placers and everlasting tips. The newer ones in the last 2 years or so are awesome to multipace with the new DAC multiplacers as they work even better with the tighter drill field.
I was under the impression that the drills are not really square. Rectangle. So turning them sideways horizontally they would be either too big or too small leaving gaps.
What if we can't get those tips? In my opinion beginners are not going to have those Tips. So wouldn't it be more better to teach with everyday tips that comes with kit. Not all can afford or get these tips. So all tips work differently. This video is not for beginners in my opinion. I love your channel Carra. If I was a beginner I would go right pass this video.
Thanks for your feedback. I should have clarified. You can use what I said with any tips. Like I said in the video, it was just me. Real, raw and unrehearsed. I’m here to answer any questions that anyone has.

Thank you for the video! I love the DAC multiplacers too! I was a diehard single placer until I found them.
i love those DAC multiplacer tips as well!!
Thank you for this tutorial. It will help me with my multiplacing…especially the tips.🥰
It was a wonderful tutorial and has helped me tons already!
That’s a beautiful painting. Thank you so much for showing the pivot point technique! I’m going to practice right now.
As a newbie it is so helpful to see the process. Appreciate your point of view and all the tips.

I find the same! I wonder what makes vertical a bit easier than horizontal? 😁
@khurtubise1 You aren’t having to rotate your hand when you vertically place drills like you do when horizontally placing. It takes some practice.

I haven’t seen that but will be on the lookout! So far it has worked really well.
I place my square drills horizonal and vertically without any problems of them being the wrong size.
