Hello, I've been to this place just last week, the boomerang was my first ride ever and I loved it; and you're not wrong, the ride of steel is greatly underrated.
Yes, those are the trains from The Voyage. They were brought over to Darien when The Voyage was attempting to switch their trains, but it didn't work out.
I never been to Six Flags Darien Lake before but I've been to Great Adventure in Jackson New Jersey and Six Flags Saint Louis. I hope I can visit Six Flags Darien Lake in the future.
The Six flags parks that were branded during the premier park era when they assumed the six flags name have a very similar feel and look. This park reminds me alot of sfne and sfa.
I heard that Ride of Steel at Six Flags Darien Lake was called a mega coaster because it's a very tall ride and it doesn't take too much time to get to the top because of the fast lift motor.
Haven't been there in over 20 years. A lot looks the same, but looking on Google Maps there seems to be a number of attractions that aren't there anymore. The biggest surprise was seeing half of the waterpark is gone (also read you have to pay extra to get into it now, which stinks). That bridge as you walked in would connect the two waterparks. Also a shame they got ride of the ferris wheel, not the most exciting ride but it was a decent size and something you would always go on with each visit.
I'm almost positive that the waterpark is included with park admission. We typically don't do waterparks, so no experience with not being able to get in.
Closing the Mind Eraser during the open season is really an unforgivable dick move! Crap like this is why Six Flags is in trouble. You renovate, refurbish or replace during the OFF season. Once I found out they pulled this terrible move, I took Darien Lake off my itinerary for 2024!
My home park! Thanks for the tour. I haven't been yet this season.
same here, although im a season ticket holder this year.
So happy you had a good time at our Six Flags. It ain’t much but it’s ours

Thank you for giving DL a positive review. Everyone always is so negative about it, and I get it, it has A LOT of flaws but it’s decent.
They just need to desperately expand & or bring in new rides ... They keep removing and not adding . We need more to do

I’m going next week! How long were the wait times when you went?
Great Vlog
Enjoy your videos! What do you use for videos at park as far as equipment goes?
Mainly I use a gopro and cell phone.

ROS is a hyper. What we need is a giga!

@@amusementparkportal3502 Aa read that on a recent reddit post about the park, so they were most likely wrong.
