Love this review as always. Your content is always great, informative, and charming. If Coaster Studios was a wedding, you and Meg are the memorable and cool people at the hotel afterparty keeping the party going til 6 in the morn. The chemistry is so natural, filled with love and I want to be brought in for more. I love your stuff as always. Charisma is untouchable and I will say it again, your charisma is untouchable. I dub you "The Rocky Miavia" of the Coaster World. Thank you and see you for the next one. Also props to Great Escape - commemorative stuffed animals to celebrate a new ride, out of this world. Awesome job to everyone.
Oh my gosh this is the most poetic comment I think I’ve ever received 😂🥹, thank you so much!! ❤️ Only thing I’ll disagree with is we’d absolutely be the people in bed by 10 after a wedding 😝😝😝 #old
Great review and I like that you keep doing the ratings, regardless of how "accurate" they actually are (they're just fun). I came here years ago in high school and am still only 2.5 hours away, so considering a day trip sometime!
When the arrow has a walk on and you’re hoping it’s a long wait so you can skip it😅😂 The smell of fresh wooden track is so good! Solid theming for the coaster too, great vlog!
@@coaster365 So my ranking for the coasters of the park is 1. Comet. I'm that guy who had it above The Cyclone. 2. Bobcat. Educated guess. My first ride will be sometime this week. Alpine Bobsled was number 2 before it closed. 3. Flashback. Speaks volumes of how little the park has that a Boomerang is in the top 3. Nightmare at Crack Axle Canyon would have been here. 4. Canyon Blaster 5. Frankie's Mine Train. I've never been on this. I was already too big for it in 2005 but it has to be better than... 6. Steamin' Demon. I've been asking for a Raptor in this spot for years. And since Alpine Bobsled seems to be a somewhat rare credit even among enthusiasts I will just count myself lucky that I managed to grab it several times over the years, but even with this being my home park, it was closed more often then not.
Glad you enjoed my home park! Definitely doesn't have the strongest ride collection but the atmosphere and theming definitely help. Ik you were only able to get the one ride, but general consensus among enthusiasts is that back of bobcat is where it's at, but glad you enjoyed it nonetheless!
I’ve heard that as well 😔, didn’t help they were only running 1 train the first few hours it was running, so the “oo we’ll just come back to it later!” was the play. And then it was down lol
I almost forgot about this coaster, but it looks like it was an amazing addition for this super deserving park! Unfortunately, I don’t have any plans in the near future to get up to NY.
I think the "first to ride plushie" should become a thing. I would *love* to have a plushie from Wildcat's Revenge last year. Iron Menace...maybe not so much.
Great Escape is one of the 4 Six Flags parks I'm missing. Based on your entire video it does have that Frontier City vibe from a theming perspective, although I was waiting for Longneck from Efteling based on the first few minutes of the video. Comet is probably one of the bigger bucket list coasters left for me in the US. Bobcat looks fun as well.
I'm really hoping this park continues to get new attractions and it isn't another 20+ years before it gets another coaster. For me, I need a park to have 3+ unique coasters for me to plan a trip there.
You know, my daughter's going to RIT in the fall, and the Lake George area is... well, not exactly along the way, but close enough that it might be reasonable to divide the trip in half and spend some time there in the middle.
I found it to be on the underwhelming side. Then again, my home park is SFNE which has the far superior Intamin Superman, so I’ll always be a little harsher on the other two

Exactly!! Definitely wished we got a back row ride (I’ve heard it’s even better), but yes, allll for fun!

😂😂😂, so true man lmao. Thank you so much Angelo as always!
New subscriber here! Keep up the great work! Congrats on 2k!
Appreciate that!! ❤️
My home park. Not the best in the chain from a ride perspective, but it has a charm that most of the parks do not.
Perfect description!

This is my home park. Steamin demon definitely needs to go.
Raptorrrrr
Love the channel my guy
❤️❤️❤️

bobcat amazing we been riding it nonstop every weekend and ❤ the comet
I didn't realize how charming this park is! We're going for the first time in August. Great review 😊
Oh you’re going to love it!! Especially the kids!
@@coaster365 yayyy! Can't wait!
I remember when comet came to the park. 30 yrs later and still the best ride in the park. I assume, haven’t tried bobcat yet..
Bobcat is indeed good…truly a good thing for Great Escape to have a “what’s the best coaster in the park?” debate!
This coaster was so good!
I think the "first to ride plushie" should become a thing. I would *love* to have a plushie from Wildcat's Revenge last year. Iron Menace...maybe not so much.
A little…steel worker? It could’ve worked 😜. But yes agreed!!
I’m going at the end of the month can’t wait
Also congrats on 2k subscribers
Thank you Henry!! ❤️

You’ll definitely have a great time whenever you get there!
I was there on June 1st, and Comet was still closed. Good to see that it has opened, though it appears to be one train for now.
Yeahhhhh it definitely was, and was closed most of the morning too, so unfortunately just got one ride there too
I missed you guy I was there June 2nd also
Whattt no way!!
I'm really hoping this park continues to get new attractions and it isn't another 20+ years before it gets another coaster. For me, I need a park to have 3+ unique coasters for me to plan a trip there.
It’s definitely still worth a visit even now!! But yes I really want that raptor 🙏
Rumor has it that Walt Disney made a visit to The Great Escape and got the ideas for the Disney parks from The Great Escape
🤨🤨🤨 - you thinking of Tivoli Gardens in Denmark? Disneyland was already well planned out before Great Escape even opened
You know, my daughter's going to RIT in the fall, and the Lake George area is... well, not exactly along the way, but close enough that it might be reasonable to divide the trip in half and spend some time there in the middle.
Absolutely!! Great Escape is so charming definitely highly recommend
I think I should bypass Darien Lake and go here first. Looks fun and like a nicer themed park than Great Adventure.
Great Escape > Darien Lake, no question. More coasters at DL but a better 1-2 here, and SO much nicer yes!
pretty sure I saw you while you were heading away from comet. felt weird to see a vlogger in their natural habitat
Whattttt no way!! Definitely feel free to see hi next time!!
I do not think Comet is better than Ride of Steel at Darien Lake but it’s close.
Having Superman at New England as my home park, the other two will probably always get an unfair shake from me lol
I agree with most of your assessments, but let's not act like Ride of Steel doesn't exist, that's the best coaster in NY.
I found it to be on the underwhelming side. Then again, my home park is SFNE which has the far superior Intamin Superman, so I’ll always be a little harsher on the other two
i ❤steamon deamon yu have to lean your head foward after last corkscrew or bang yu good
Oh I still did lol, didn’t help 😅
I'm guessing your gonna think it's rough because thoosies seem to hate anything wooden these days lol
It’s smooth as glass lol, all of these family Gravity Groups are, even Wooden Warrior which opened over a decade ago!
@coaster365 all wooden coasters are smooth.
