Having worked at Fiesta Texas a handful of years ago, we took great pride in our work and always strove to provide the best service possible. I can’t say I always see that quality in other Six Flags parks when I visit them.
no fr... as my home park, every time i go there the opperations are usually good, the atmeosphere is always great, the setting/scenary, everything.
the only complaint i had was then IRat was running 1 train ops but i dont thing that will happen anymore as they got a new train
anyway, i completly agree with you, and we must all be happy that jeffery siebert controlls the park right now. only think i would like is for him to remove pandemonium for either a park expandtion or a new roller coaster (as pandemonium has a lot of emptey land behind it)

@@HugeRMCFanBoY-bx3od it was when they needed to do maintenance on trains I believe in spring or something. But like I said, they have a new train now so let’s just hope that we don’t have 1 train ops ever again (as im saying this I realised that my last visit it was 1 train ops to begin the day)

It was a problem for the park for a while. It would get to certain times of the year and Iron would need to take one train off for work. A third train was bought last year so that there would always be at least two trains available. The park even bought an extra train for Cliffhanger from day one for this very reason. Even Boomerang has two trains now! I think Jeffrey Siebert wants to have extra trains for as many of the rides as possible to minimize downtime.
Makes me feel blessed knowing fiesta Texas is only an hour away. It really doesn’t feel like a six flags park

If Magic Mountain has everything running it’s the best park because it feels like there’s to much to do at times. I was fortunate to get it with 19 out of the 20 coasters running for 5 days with multiple train ops. Only bad thing it was very busy and I had to buy flash pass.
When i went everything was running 1 train (apart from Twisted Colossus and West Coast Racers) and operations were horrible regardless
But magic mountain never has everything running so sadly it will continue to be my 3rd favorite park in the chain after great America and fiesta texas
For me it’s easily the best in the chain.
I always try to visit during spring and winter weekdays to avoid crowds.

Growing up in Texas, I've been to Six Flags Over Texas, Six Flags Fiesta Texas and before it closed, Six Flags Astroworld in Houston. When I was in the military stationed out west, I went to Six Flags Elitch Gardens in Denver when it was still part of the Six Flags family, and Six Flags Magic Mountain.
Nice! Still need to visit Elitch.
Great adventures in NJ is my favorite one by far. The Kingsda Ka is unmatched! I went there for Passover break this week, the line was surprisingly empty, I got to ride it three times in a row without having to get up or unbuckle! I find the park to be run really well overall.

Nice list! I enjoy hanging out with you at Magic Mountain when you visit the West Coast. I felt you were very fair in your assessment of it. Despite its flaws, it’s still got the line up and the natural topography to take advantage of.
It really is an amazing park and if they ever get strong ops through and through, they could move higher.

At some point in the next few months. Expect Asterix to be busy. I strongly recommend looking into their skip the line pass. If you plan to buy it, buy it in advance since it routinely sells out.

Feel like La Ronde could be a big winner from the Cedar Fair merger. It'll probably mean better ops, and a neglected park in a big market without any nearby competitors sounds ripe for investment.

ouch a #5 for Six flags Great Am! personally i think its the best or top 3, but 5 makes me scratch my head lol! i know all have our own opinions!
It almost got the 4 spot, but it couldn't beat the top 3.
It hurts cause I love Great Am, but it’s kind of fair. Somethings were greatly overlooked, both positively and negatively.
Our line up of coasters and water rides as well as our operations are glossed over kind of quickly, despite them being pretty outstanding. We actually got one of, if not the highest ranking amongst Six Flags park designated by a ranking given to us via corporate.
The flat rides are kind of not that great, fair, but that’s the least of the problems. Our kids areas need some refurbishment, Eagle needs to eventually be retracked as management rarely lets it dual due to the failing integrity and age of the ride, and a lot of areas in the park sit vacant. Buccaneer Battle is still up despite its operation ceasing years ago, the area where Sky Trail used to sit is still vacant other than for Fright Fest display usage, and we recently took out Hangover, due to reasonable issues, but its lot now sits relatively empty. Sky Striker will be the first new ride we have gotten since Maxx Force in 2019 and we had to take out two other rides to facilitate it.
To end on a more positive note, our areas are reasonably themed, our ride lineup is sparse, our water rides actually get you wet, and our operations are amazing.
We also deserve brownie points for having a roller coaster with a theme song, having once owned the first ever BnM and first BnM invert/Batman clone, helping BnM become as well known as it is today, being the park that granted usage of Looney Tunes characters to the rest of the chain, and finally, Terror Twister II.
Six Flags Over Texas is my home park, so we still go there all the time, but you are so right about Fiesta! I was so impressed with the theming on Dr. Diabolical and the smoothness of the ride itself. I also loved the theming on several other rides, and I thought the Gully Washer was fantastic with beautiful scenery!
Fiesta is the cream of the crop from the chain. Their theming is above the other parks.
I think personally i have been spoiled for what a theme park should be as I grew up with Great Adventure 40 mins from my house and dorney an hour and a half out hahaha. Anyways great video and i wasn’t surprised the great adventure was so high up on the list.
Great Adventure really is a fantastic park.
Great America is my home park, but going to Fiesta Texas for the first time in April. Excited to see how it compares in person.

New England is my nearest Six Flags! It was called Riverside Park in my mom’s day, and Superman was known as Bizarro for a number of years, being purple instead of red. The oldest coaster in the park is Thunderbolt, which I personally love, also being the second oldest coaster at any Six Flags. The first oldest coaster being The Wild One, which is actually from - get this - Paragon Park in Massachusetts! The 2 oldest SF coasters are from silly old Mass.
It’s not much of a SF location in comparison, but when it and Canobie Lake are your only 2 main options, it’s pretty darn memorable and almost homey.
Six Flags New England has an amazing top 2.

I love my six flags in St. Louis. Water park isn’t much but I love their coasters. Haven’t rode the boomerang yet though, it’s always closed down due to staffing issues

Well if things do well i'll have done them all except for the one in Mexico. Of the ones i 'vr done yup you are pretty much spot on. Although i have to say i really enjoyed Darien lake it had this really nice layback feeling even if it isn't the best park all around.
It's a solid park, just not as good as others in the chain.

I actually like the park.
My favorite is still Magic Mountain, followed by Great America, Over Texas, Over Georgia, New England, and America. I decided to no longer place Fiesta Texas at the very back because I don't think it's fair to say it's my least favorite based on my lone visit which wasn't great even though it should be higher. I am happy to say, though, that I will be returning to the park this June, and I am really looking forward to giving it some redemption.

Only been to great adventure and New England. I love six flags already! The mainstreet at New England is just so beautiful and nostalgic to me. And great adventure has so many B&M’s, and I love B&M. Two phenomenal parks that I am very happy to call my home parks. Especially New England, it’s the closer one to me, and I have so many memories of staring up at Superman and just having my mind blown. I first went on it on a summer camp field trip, and it got me to my love of coasters I have today. Shoutout to Intamin!
I agree Main Street looks nice.
If you visit SFOG, there will be 2 B&M's greating you when entering the park, which are both Goliath and Scorcher

I have been to Fiesta Texas, Great Adventure, Over Georgia, Over Texas, and New England. I rank them in that order. I will be adding Magic Mountain this year, and I will see where I rank it.

As great America being my home park it is nice to see some people not bashing it it has potential just residents don’t keep the park clean I hope the changes coming to great America help give the park a better rating and better treatment

Number 13: Six Flags Darien Lake in upstate New York. This is a park that Six Flags previously sold off, but they recently reacquired it. This park has a ton of promise. It's a full-fledged resort with plenty of land and a nice ride lineup. Some areas just need freshening up and they really need to improve their operations. Im trying to decide if I should go to Texas or Florida for coasters. I think Florida might have a better ride lineup and I will be able to get one rare credit along the way being Dragon's Tail in Haiti, plus maybe be able to hit some places in Georgia (maybe) but if I go to Texas I will be able to experience Fiesta Texas, all those parks including Bolt on Carnival Jubilee and Jungle Coaster at Selvatica. Would you have an opinion?
I recommend Florida, especially since the theming of those parks is great too.
I've always found La Ronde a bit underrated as even though it has poor roller coasters overall, I was impressed by the operations when I went (especially on Goliath) and the setting and appearance are simply gorgeous.
I would reverse everything you said I hate the operations and park atmosphere while I actually think la ronde has the best coaster lineup of the lower tier six flags parks (Darien lake great escape frontier city and la ronde) since I actually liked la monstre vampire and goliath

He’s not as big of a fan of Magnum as other coaster content creators.
I feel like the top two are indisputable and only vary based on personal preference. Magic Mountain has an S tier coaster lineup and Fiesta Texas is the nicest and most well rounded park in the chain.
I personally love Monster Mansion so much that Over Georgia is just a bit higher for me. Call me a dork but it might be my favorite ride in the chain depending on when you ask me.
I could see Great Adventure being a top park depending on tastes and animal love.
I would ask you about coasters at both Six Flags and Cedar Fair parks. For example, imagine trying to ride again: Batman the Ride at Six Flags Great America and Flight Deck at Canada's Wonderland. What would you think?

Yes X2 is “intense” and “forceful” but, it also has the most demented lift hill and first drop in ALL OF AMERICA.
That drop is insane.
six flags great escape is cute for little ones, i’ve been there a few, it’s not really worth it now tho. it’s like the forgotten park

As having lived in Austin Texas and Chicago, this list makes me happy. Fiesta Texas definitely deserves the number 1 spot, but SF Mexico in front of SF Great America? I've been to Mexico and I think it's a top 5 park, but Great America is far more superior.
I loved Mexico's atmosphere and fast ops (plus their top two).
Six Flags Over Georgia takes the #6 spot in a Six Flags video. That's 666. By the way, the park has DareDEVIL Dive

I literally visited Fiesta Texas yesterday and I highly think it’s way better than my local six flags in over Texas.
I prefer Fiesta as well.
My favourite is magic mountain. It had reasonable-short lines and most of the rides operated with more than one train. I think I got lucky that day

Magic Mountain has had almost everything running since October, operations have improved.
I was surprised Superman was open in my recent visit (contrary to the site), but there were some closures.

Ninja has undergone retracking since late October, and X-2 started to get a new chain 2 weeks ago. Everything else should be open still though. @@CanobieCoaster

Having grown up in Montreal, La Ronde gave me many amazing memories in the 80s and 90s....however, after going back for a visit with my family in 2023, what a disaster it is now!!! Saying the place needs a little TLC is an understatement....Several rides were closed, the food choices were brutal, and my wife twisted her ankle on an uneven bit of pavement on one of the main walkways! I will never go back again!

A little late in my comment here, but having just visited Fiesta Texas, they have recently removed the single rider option for Iron Rattler. It seems that Six Flags is moving away from the single rider lines, as they probably realized that to effectively have single rider lines, they need to have assigned seating, which requires more staff and leads to guests being unhappy about not getting to pick their row. Pandemoniums should still be able to have it.
I have Great Adventure ahead of Magic Mountain, for the amazing operations, but it's a close call. I actually have SFNE 4th, but maybe my opinion on it is skewed from the spectacular experience I had on my only visit over 2+ days in 2019. SFOT is my # 5, as my almost-home park bias gives it a boost. Beyond that, I think I'm in line with your rankings, other than having not been to Mexico or La Ronde.
Six Flags as a chain seems to have removed single rider lines. The best ones loaded from the exit and let you pick the empty/available seats (Batman at New Englanf did that), but even those ones have been discontinued.
Six flags america has so much potential. It doesn’t get major additions because of low attendance, but the reason why attendance is low is because the locals know the park hasn’t grown much over the past 23 years. People would rather go to Kings dominion, Hershey, and BGW.
The park might seem like it is slowly growing, but attendance is probably the lowest it’s been since the 1990s. I remember 10 years ago when Fright Fest used to be crowded every night and the overflow parking lot being filled up. This past fright fest, the over flow parking lot was barely used and the longest wait time was 15 mins.
The park is also one of the only parks in the area that does not have a Holiday event anymore.
The park suffers because six flags won’t take the risk and invest in the park. I think the only way they will get a new coaster is if they RMC Roar or remove batwing and put in a small single rail.
I'd love to see this park invest more. They have a lot of potential, but the park really is hurt by its past reputation.
Six flags America was driven into despair while under Schnyder the last 20 years… it needs a LOT of work. It’s a shadow of its former self, the grounds keeping has been a nightmare and they haven’t gotten an actual new coaster in decades
My recent trips had better ops at least. And the existing ride lineup is solid.

Six Flags St. Louis is the one I grew up going to I just went today for my first time in about 6 years and actually got on batman, ninja, and boss for the first time today.

Of the Six Flags parks I've been to I rank them as 1. SFMM 2. SFGAd 3. SFGAm 4. SFSL. I feel like my list would be very similar if not identical to yours whenever I visit the rest of the parks. SFGAm is my home park and I'm glad you didn’t over rate it like many seem to do. Aside from Goliath the coasters are decent to pretty good, half the coasters are clones, mediocre ops, and it's crowded often.
SFGAm does many things well. If it got a signature coaster, it could make the top 3 for me.
I’ve only been to 5 SF parks…but my top 3 are:
1) Fiesta Texas
2) Great America
3) Great Adventure
Great America gets slept on. Raging Bull is my favorite Hyper.

Sorry the park has lost a lot. It has potential, but I hope it gets some major investments.
SFOG is typically a hit or miss. It sometimes get bashed on by enthusiasts but not always cuz it's one of the most praised parks in the chain. The park has one of the strongest coaster line ups now that they have 13 of them with Georgia Surfer being their newest coaster. It has beautiful scenary but not as much as what Fiesta has

Yes, Riddler’s Revenge before I rode it with my stand up technique.

I got lucky and only missed out on ninja at MM and great America is just such a strong park but needs a stand out ride. Great Adventure takes it for me the ride line up (although a lot are clones) is so good and with Phlash I think it’s going to make the gap between the top 2 bigger

Great American Scream Machine could cause one before the retrack.
I can agree with some of what you say about SFGAm. The ops are actually pretty solid usually. It sucks that MaxxForce has to run with one train tho. Having been to SFGAm more times than the average enthusiast, I have to step in when I hear people talk about the lines being a problem because of how busy the park apparently gets. I go at least once a week on average throughout the season and it’s usually on a week day. And I never usually run into lines that are too long and I’m able to marathon rides pretty consistently there. I think SFGAm gets a bad rep for that because it CAN get busy being nestled between the Milwaukee and Chicago areas. But as a local, I can tell you other enthusiasts out there to not be discouraged when you hear others talk up the business of this park. It’s overblown. And as a result, it gets unfairly ranked. SFGAm is a Top 3 Six Flags park. Just catch it on a weekday and you’ll most likely be fine.
When I was there in 2021, Maxx Force always ran two. But I did hit high crowds on a few days.

I understand that’s your experience. I was just filling in the blanks as a local enthusiast. I frequently am at the park on days when the lines aren’t long at all.

I have to admit the Fiesta Texas day wasn't the best. It was during Covid so they did the park reservation system and there were so many more people than expected there. It was also a day in August so it was humid, hot, and busy. Need to go back again someday.

Didn't even get the chance to ride Goliath before leaving. Iron Rattler and Wonder Woman were awesome though. Got 2 rides on each but would've loved more rides on them.
It definitely gets hot there, which is why I try to visit in the spring and winter.
Six Flags Darien Lake is my home park! I love going there but I do wish we can get the Looney Tunes back at the park and the Superman name back on the Ride of Steel.
I'm surprised those haven't been brought in.

According to Log Ride, I have been to 58 parks in the US and Europe. Magic Mountain is my home park and have always loved it, but I have to admit that it has the worse ops of any park I have been to. They just don't care about customer service.
I do wish the ops were better, especially around ride closures.

I would debate that the scariest drop tower is Falcon's Fury at Busch Gardens Tampa. Acrophobia is one of the better drop towers I've ridden, but Falcon's Fury is on another level.
I think the seating configuration on Acrophobia and force makes it scarier.
@@CanobieCoaster Have you seen Falcon's Fury? It tips you out 90° to face the ground. I live in Georgia and have ridden Acrophobia many times, but Falcon's Fury is the most terrifying drop tower I've ever been on.

I love Fiesta Texas.
I don’t think I’ve ever been to six flags. I’ve only been to Knotts, Disneyland, universal studios Hollywood, legoland, and sea world(can’t remember cause I was a baby). I would love to go magic mountain and their other parks. My band from school did have an optional trip to visit magic mountain but I didn’t go.
Definitely worth visiting if you love coasters.

The great escape isn’t to bad
It’s restricted to a lot of big rides because from what I heard there is a height limit of how tall rides can go
For example the outlaw was suppose to be near the comet at the back but it’s now near the front of the park
So that’s why there’s not big rides
I like the park. It just doesn't have the ride lineup of the parks higher on this list.
Great escape should be higher. Not everything is about roller coasters
I like Great Escape, but I prefer the parks ahead of it, primarily for the stronger ride lineups.

With the merger, I expect Six Flags to sell off a few of these. I think Darian Lake, La Ronde, and Frontier City will be sold to Premier Parks, while Discovery Kingdom will be a new Seaworld park.
I dream about discovery kingdom getting bought by seaworld the operations there suck
If anything, I see those parks just getting less investment. La Ronde gets crowds despite barely getting anything.
Great Adventure was a lot better this year & with the new 2024 additions its gonna be a lot better.
Looking forward to visiting again this year.

Magic Mountain could be number 1 if it ran 2 trains and put in a modern hyper coaster from B&M or Intamin and took out Goliath

Nice list, except fiesta Texas for me is not as good as over Texas due to iron rattler and Wonder Woman both being closed on my visit 😅
That's very unfortunate.
Screamin' Eagle is in no way smoother than The Boss any more. Not that The Boss is smooth, but Eagle was running horribly rough this last season and I definitely walked away from it feeling worse than when I got on. And the ride is looking really rough too. I'm hopeful that we'll see Eagle get a big refurb for its 50th in 2026, hopefully some retracking and maybe new trains would help. A lot of the structure needs work too, as the wood looks like it's literally falling apart.
Colossus, the ferris wheel, was also down on every visit for me last season and I wonder if maybe it was closed the whole year waiting for a part or something. I also still haven't gotten on Supergirl or the the Larson loop because those were also closed on all my visits, as was the splash battle...it's the rare park where you're likely to see more coasters than non-kiddie flats running, which I think is probably from their massive staffing issues (the park is just far enough out from the city that a lot of students would rather take local jobs that don't involve an hour commute, and there's no longer any form of bus running out there from the city).
Screamin' Eagle was smooth for me in 2020, but I haven't been to this park since.
@@CanobieCoaster and 2023 was the first time I'd been in probably 15 years. I definitely recall it being smoother in my teens, but it really felt like it hadn't had any work on it between those two times.
I disagree...I live in Eureka and frequent the park alot and I'd say The Boss is waaay rougher. I will not ride it anymore...Screamin' Eagle had some rough rides during Fright Fest but it had some that went real smooth, I haven't had a decent ride on The Boss in many years....That's just my perspective

Fiesta is such a great park and easily the nicest in the chain. Jeffrey should honestly be the CEO of Six Flags. Magic Mountain has amazing rides but outside of that the park is one of the worst in the chain. Operations at Magic Mountain are shameful and you're lucky if half the coasters in the park are open on any given day at this point.
I agree Magic's operations really could use improvement. With faster dispatches and a better ride schedule, they probably could take the top spot.
@CanobieCoaster I went with a buddy last year and we had nearly a full week at the park. X2 only opened for about 1 hour during our entire trip. This was common with several other rides, and at no point were more than half the rides in the park actually open at once. Tatsu, Superman, Scream, and Riddler were closed the entire week. Lines were over an well over hour long for nearly everything in the park. They were obviously grossly understaffed and the ops were hilariously slow at getting trains dispatched. Was a night a day difference compared to the time we spent at Knotts which was wonderful.
