I got my RPP early this week and saw this video. I decided to give your Meeting Notes a try, I do like that spiral notebook imagery a lot and especially the ability to add pages without affecting the hyperlinks. Great product!
A great update Joe. I had the original template for my rM2 which was swapped for the rMPP and the template has helped me organise my meeting notes much more effectively.
Of interest (well maybe for myself at least 😅) is when I using select tool it is very often more successful to not fully encircle something. Where the select tool starts and finishes it will select anything that crosses imaginary line between the two ends. This is very useful when words or objects are close, without picking up other stuff. For instance selecting the tick mark could be a open square "C"
Thanks for the video. I plan to purchase it. However, that spiral band image on the left is really not necessary in any of the pages. Do you have a version without it?
@@dh-fr8rc No problem and thanks for your question. It is possible to create a version without but it would take a few days to pull together. The spiral note asthetic doesn’t impact the footprint of any notes pages where space is required and most people leave the toolbar open, which blocks out the spiral image if it really bothers some. @OrganisedByJoe yes it does clarify my question. Maybe its just me, I just don't like seeing templates with it. If its possible to create a version without it, I'll appreciate it. Thanks for the hard work because I know designing templates like this is time consuming!
I love this meeting note template! I would have to agree about the spiral bound, but I'm left-handed and have to move the menu bar to the right, which unfortunately covers up the colored tabs, but that's not that big a deal. Thanks for your work, Joe!!
Thank you for your video, that horrible persistent ghosting made me rethink about purchasing a RMPP: it's way too much for a such expensive device. Anyway, your planner is very nice, I think would look much better without the side spiral image. Do you make it also for other devices?
@@enzomasci5218 Hi Enzo, glad I could help. The spiral image remains unseen if you have the tool bar open which most people tend to do. A nice compromise as some people really like the notebook aesthetic!
This looks great. We have a weekly meeting each week to discuss the same 35-40 commercial projects. Is it possible to take an existing PDF list of them and insert it as a page into your Meeting Notebook (similar to how you described adding additional pages), and then manually write the updates on that page? I'm trying to stay away from manually writing the list every week.
@@OriginalPoseidon Thank you, having looked at this you can’t add a separate PDF within a different PDF within the remarkable. This could be done with software on a computer. If it is a long list of 40 items you could type/ write it up a normal remarkable notebook then move that into the meeting notes PDF. As another option if you write them up using the pen you can copy and paste this to wherever you want as many times as you want using the copy tool.
This is excellent. Thank you🥰 I didn't care for color on my new remarkable pro, but using it as part of the template is perfect! Question-Can I duplicate the Meeting Logs page or only its Notes pages?
@@not-so-scruffynerfherder Hello, thanks for your question. Did you watch the full video? I demonstrate the tracing aspect. The shapes must be drawn over, this then allows them to be moved around and interested with. If you skip to half way on the video there is a full tutorial to help you get started 😊
@@lefteriszabou The writing feel is very different. If it is better is quite subjective but I prefer it. It feel more abrasive and therefore a little more like using a pencil I would say.
@@OrganisedByJoe thank you for answering, I think I also like it more like this , but I had worst writing feel when I had Supernote A5X when I changed the film with feelwrite 2 because I thought that would give me a RM experience, so l sold it and bought RM2 … Now I’m trying to make this decision and change to RM Pro
Mine arrived today and agree that it is "different", not better or worse (objectively), just different and at first I wasn't sure whether I liked it (subjectively). It's like the difference between pencil (rM2) and ballpoint or biro pen (PaperPro). Some of this is down to the stylus nib and some to the glass vs plastic screen. In case the mention of glass is concerning, rest assured it's nothing like Apple Pencil on iPad. :)
It's insane that there is a loading spinner when switching between the colored tabs thing. This tablet came out a week ago and costs I think like $500.
@@hr1100 Loading large PDF files with lots of hyperlinks does still have a loading time like on the rM2. I will say it is quicker than the rM2 and the speed does pick up the more you use the template, but yes there sometimes occasions where you wait a second or two.

Great template but the icons, shapes and charts are not in colour and I am unable to select them using the select tool?

Btw is the writing feel same or different from RM2 (better or worst) because this is the main reason that I use RM
