Happy News Nancy, I am a 6x6 and a 5x7 card crafter. I really appreciate that Spellbinders embossing folders are 6x8. Thanks for the tutorial! 🤠🤠

I like the 5 X 7 cards because they are more substantial and there is no difference in mailing them in Canada. It usually goes by weight and thickness. To me it's worth it to spend more mailing for something handmade. The card is lovely Nancy. Thank you for sharing your talent with all of us

Great card Nancy. I really liked how the triangle formation made the card look. The addition of the gems took it to the next level. ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!!!
I usually do an A2 size. If I am doing hand delivery then I will do the larger size card sometimes

Your card is beautiful! Poppies are one of my favorite flowers; they remind me of my mother. It did get the BetterPress for Christmas. I make all different size cards but the mini slim line is my favorite right now

I am a Poppy fanatic so this card is a home run for me. I even named my black lab Poppy. It was a learning day for Granny watching you color with Zigs using just the water brush and picking up the color off the glass mat. Why didn't I think to try that? Cause I am old and have a hard time getting out of my own box! LOL I love to paint with watercolors so I thought Zigs would be so fun...total struggle for me as they are so concentrated and I can't get them to dilute enough when painting. Can't wait to try your method...looks like the way to go. Love this card. The majority of cards I make are A2; but, I never hesitate to make the size according to how I need the background to fit the design. Then I just make my own envelopes to fit tall my odd ball sized cards with the WRM envelope board. Thank you for sharing your talent and knowledge. Granny in Minnesota

Bright, beautiful card. I like making A6 and A7 (5x7) cards. This would be perfect those sizes. ❤ Have a happy and healthy New Year! 🎉

Loved your video. I make mostly 5x7 cards and learned how simple the ink blending is on this card. Thank you.

Happy New Year to you and yours, Nancy🎉📮Love this larger BetterPress Poppy plate as I prefer 5x7. This plate looks like a vintage botanical. Wouldn’t it be great to see Spellbinders produce a vintage botanicals series of flowers done in this 5x7 size? Add in a mini plate like the sentiments with its genus/species as an option for the print. Your water coloring is lovely. And the matting’s perfect. Thanks!

This is a gorgeous card, Nancy! This design would look lovely with some black, or silver foil as well, I love seeing how the plates could be used in different ways not just with the foils, you could also use it just as a texture, no ink, no foil - though this probably wouldn't show up on camera! I wonder if the foiling friends sheets that Tracy made might work to protect the bed of the machine from the ink, though I think I would do most of the inking away from the machine to keep it as clean as possible.
I often make either 5x7", or A2, but if I'm giving someone a card, rather than mailing it, I sometimes like to make non-standard sizes, I used to do them with a ruler and a set of envelope templates, but with my Scan 'n' cut I can make lots of different shapes and sizes.

She has discontinued that. You can use a piece of press and seal.

@@NancyStamps Or a bit of scrap paper really, it would keep the plate and machine clean and prevent transfer of the ink from the machine to the paper, until you are ready to print and it is easier to clean up too.

    🎉Happy New Year!
I usually make A2 cards but I've been debating whether I should be switching to 5x7 to help use up my paper stash or to keep being frugal with my paper.
I wanted to try a no buy this year, but I'm really tempted by this plate. It's too hard for the start of the new year. 😂

No. Don’t do it. The cotton card stock soaks it up too fast, very hard to blend. Water color is truly the best way to
