Honestly, I'm just trying to do things that I would personally like as a music fan and be that type of a musician who I would have enjoyed listening to when I was a kid. I bet you can see here a lot of influence from MCR, the early Panic! at the Disco and some Evanescence vibes too. :) I would say this is the echo of that 2000s era when top bands still made story-driven videos, I honestly miss that a lot.

If it helps if your talking about the story, from what I understand, it’s about a girl desperately trying to please her lover in an arranged marriage even though he’s unsatisfied. I would guess the first line is about a previous love whose scarred her (ether sexually or emotionally), before the arrangement (which was done behind close doors was done without her consent). Before the marriage her “lover” gives her gifts in an attempt to form a friendship, the girl mistakenly takes this as he actually loves her. When they are finally married he grows distant and resentful. She tries everything in her power to please him, but ultimately fails. After apologizing to her mother (illustrated in the first verse) she takes her own life after trying everything to make him happy. Edit Second interpretation: She had a lover in her youth who gave her gifts she fell in love with him but he didn’t feel the same way. Later she was forced by her parents into an arranged marriage against her will, during the wedding she pretends to be the perfect wife just like her new husband wants. But on the wedding night she writes a note saying she’d rather die then survive as a object and apologizes to her mother that she lost her innocence long ago and she hangs herself. The consistent theme is she dies as a result of the arranged marriage, falling into despair and loneliness.
This story is a satire and actually has the opposite meaning. It’s about fighting for being accepted for who you truly are and losing a part of yourself in a process - this is why the main character of this story is pictured as a demon / undead creature - she’s been through various psychological traumas (including this forced marriage) and deprived of her freedom (by her family). She’s not trying to please anyone, she’s actually mocking this whole wedding, destroying her family’s plans for her and having fun. I hope this helps :)
