Their personalities play off each other so well-I’ve gone back and watched a few of the videos from earlier in the season and they’re just a winning combo. And it’s not just the personalities, IMO: They also blend nitty-gritty details (e.g. stats, breakdowns of particular at-bats) with more purely emotional (usually humorous) commentary. And best of all, it doesn’t feel forced or fake. Maybe it’s just my age, but I am utterly bored by guys (and it’s always guys) who try to ape the overhyped sports dude archetype. Wit, true passion, and humor are so much more enjoyable.
Like most of the comments here, I’m a Dodgers fan and I’m enjoying your podcast. I’ve watched a couple of episodes and you girls break the game down very well. I’ll keep watching. Great work!

You guys made me change my mind on females understanding of the game! Much props to you guys and ur families ! You was on point when you said we gave away game 2. #Dodger4life💙
U ladies do an amazing job, wish us Dodgers fans had a few ladies to do something like this. Just to let you know as a Dodger fan we’ve been on an emotional rollercoaster for over 10 years so I could cope with yall. Makes me go back to our first playoff series of this new era Dodgers run against the Cubs and we were emotionally crushed that year. Wish yall the best in the years to come (with the exception of my Dodgers) looks like ur team is on the right track. Stay Up
Dodger fan here. I started following your show earlier this season, way before I knew we were going to possibly face the Mets in the Postseason. I love your knowledge and passion for the game, and you two are just fun to listen to. I feel pretty confident that the Dodgers can put this series to bed and we can focus on the WS, but it’s Baseball. This game can humble you quick. As a Dodger fan, I know your pain and frustration, and I don’t wish that upon anyone except maybe Giant and Astros fans. Idk if game 5 will be the end or not, but I enjoy being a fly on the wall. You have a fan out in LA.
Idea for you ladies. Should the Mets not make it to the WS, would love for you two to continue the podcast for your Dodger Fanbase. I'm sure many a Mets fan would love nothing more than to see the boys in blue take out the pinstripes. As a Dodgers fan, I really enjoyed watching the Mets battle the end of the season into the post.
I think Mets fans have to realize the American League is weaker than the National League. You’re coming up against a National League elite team that is just better. and will probably win it all this year.
Dodgers fan here. This came up in my autoplay. Great channel. Think your pitching is scared to throw to us. Sooooo many walks. In the playoffs you cant nibble at the plate. Good video girl. Mets are good
I'm with you ladies, I feel like it's over but I'm still believing till the very end. I'll never give up on my Mets till the final out. This Dodgers team is really really good. Honestly I had this as a .500 team but they were one of the best teams since May. Not making excuses but have walked 31 hitters and are 4-27 with runners in scoring position. It feels like we're cursed sometimes!!! Hopefully we win today and can make it another day. Love your podcast ladies and keep up the good work and too all the Dodgers fans you have one hell of a team. LGM!!!!LGM!!!!LGM!!!!
What's up with all the friendly Dodger fans in here, I hate them even more now (ha) Dodgers really dont swing at anything remotely off the plate, also thought umps squeezed them at times. Ohtani is like a cyborg or something I've never seen a machine, i mean a player like him the fact that he's also a dominant starting pitcher is unreal to me
Dodgers fan here, but you two need more than 3K subscribers. You two are awesome! I don't think we could find two gals in LA area in your age group that would be able to talk baseball like you two do. Best wishes on your Mets (not this year) and hope this channel eventually grows to 100K+ subscribers.
I’m a Dodger fan. Love your passion! I’ve been tracking the Mets run towards the end of the season. To win a key game against the Braves, beat the Brewers, and the Phillies is insane! What a run already. Respects!
As a Dodgers fan I wanted to watch you guys so I can know more about the Mets players and understand who you guys get hyped for. I can say that you guys, and Mets fans aren’t an annoying fan base. Will be sticking around for more insights!
Honestly i hope you ladies cover more teams, rather listen to your analysis then most of these other channels. Go Dodgers, no disrespect to the mets we'll see you guys next October for sure.
I love watching you ladies you do such a good job and are authentic Mets fan. I grew up in the Bronx and my dad was a Mets fan. Grew up watching since late 70's for some crazy reason I believe they will still win this series starting tonight. Any chance you guys can send me an autographed Syracuse shirt....your guys autographs of course not Lisa from Long Island lmao
I’m just as shocked as you guys are as a dodgers fan. Mets were looking great coming in to this series. They look outmatched and it’s making for a bad NLCS
Dodgers fan here, we feel your pain, the Dodgers have been leaving RISP for like the last 10 years, it's like been a nightmare for us. 2017 WS game 7 still haunts my dreams
This series has been absolutely brutal. It reminds me of how the Mets were playing in April. Pitching has been atrocious and the walks are really killing the pitchers. They’re trying to nibble around to a team that doesn’t chase and when they have to throw it in the zone to get a strike it’s right down the middle and the dodgers don’t miss it. Offensively, lindor has 1 hit. Alonso has 2 hit. Nimmo has 1 hit and a force out but with a bad foot he’s still trying to run out. Vientos has been the only offensive threat. JD Martinez has been a waste of a roster spot. Iglesias has 4 hits but all singles. Marte has 3 or 4 hits. Nothing from Alvarez at all. This lineup cannot hit the dodgers pitching at all. 3 out of 4 games this team has been slaughtered. Everybody is flailing at any breaking pitch. The Mets have left over 20 runners on the bases this series. We go again tomorrow and I want to have hope and believe they can at least win tomorrow and not have the dodgers clinch on our turf but the way they’ve been playing makes it difficult
Even though I'm a Dodgers fan I really enjoy your analysis and passion. You gals picked up a new subscriber. And like many others have said, it's not over yet, the Mets have been the most resilient team all year.
Old dodger fan (first game sandy koufax 1965) from fresno ca Tom Seavers hometown. That said you guys are great, one thing i would rather get beat by a team that everyone says is better, than to get beat like we have the last 3 years, when we were considered the best. Hang in there just love your honesty!
Thank you, ladies, for an in-depth, funny, and simultaneously hopeful and heartbreaking take on this NLCS. I really thought this Mets team was on a clear path to a World Series championship, and this series has been a sobering wake-up call so far. It's not over yet, and my belief is hanging by a thread, but it's one game at a time, and if they can win tonight and send it back to LA for a Dodger bullpen Game 6, the pressure will be on LA and you never know what can happen. LFGM. Either way, what a ride in '24💙🤎
The Dodgers were built for a deep run, it feels like the Mets were not. I think we will compete for years to come, but this was unexpected and fun. I think they are out of gas.
I’m a lifelong Dodgers fan but your passion for the Mets and stat facts are fantastic you guys are spot on with criticism and giving props I love baseball and both of you make it fun keep up the great work and energy and hope you will possibly keep going thru the World Series with or without the Mets also just for u guys to keep some hope yesterday was 20 th anniversary of Dave Roberts stealing 2nd and scoring the winning run against the Yankees and went on to win the series after being down 3-0 so it can happen but probably not this year lol
I mean I keep saying this but as a Dodger fan I hope we have a better ballgame to watch. It was nice to see Mookie hit the ball again. The Dodgers were really on point these last two games. That dog analogy was so funny and on point. And our pitching has really come through when I thought they were our biggest weakness. Whatever happens I'm gonna keep watching your podcast and the Mets are now on my list to watch thanks to you.
I just found your channel today. I was at the game last night. It just felt like we were kinda outclassed. Seems like everyone except Vientos is slumping at once.
I hope I’m wrong, but I have a sense this team has gone as far as it can go with so many guys north of 30 playing key roles. Not superstars, filler pieces. A lot of them overachieved. If they go down tonight, I don’t want to hear all the haters saying everyone should be traded. They should appreciate all the fun we’ve had.
As a Dodger fan, I feel Mets fans pain. The Dodgers have been bounced out 2 of the last 2 playoffs series in the first round with the best record in the NL. Even worse we we’re cheated twice in the World Series a few years ago. Trust us we know playoff pain as well. You guys just gotta suck it up, keep fighting and maybe you’ll get your turn soon, just like it’s our time now! #GoDodgers
What’s up with Friday weddings? I had to go to a wedding last Friday and it started at the exact same time as the Dodgers/Padres game 5…and I’m a dodgers fan so that sucked
Dodgers fan here and this video came up on my feed. Great analysis. The Dodgers rotation was definitely ranked last going into the postseason. Both Buehler and Yamamoto were coming off the IL and didn’t look sharp. Flaherty is a solid #2 but not an Ace. Luckily for the Dodgers, they have stepped up. And Dodgers being disciplined at the plate is nothing new, 2nd highest OBP in the majors. They grind out pitchers. Again, great content and it’s not over until it’s over. On to Game 5.
I'm a Dodger Fan but I enjoyed watching your show during this series. Two female hosts and recorded in a studio setting were really cool. It's not over til it's over. I think the Mets will win in Game 5 too.
Dodger fan here. I’m not counting you out one bit. We came back down 3-1 to the Braves in ‘20. No reason you can’t do the same. I will say this though. This is definitely the best they’ve played all yr, and probably the best I’ve seen since ‘17 or ‘20…The offense is one thing, but the pitching is astonishing. I honestly didn’t have high hopes because of pitching. Baseball is impossible, you never know what’s going to happen.
18% chance is still better than the 0% everyone else in the NL has at this point. I'm a Dodgers fan. I like where they are going into game 5, but the job's not finished and won't be until that 4th win. Mets will fight back tonight and then we'll see
I just wanted a competitive series. Samantha you were spot on with the version of the Mets that showed up, i.e. they didn't. "shoot myself into the sun", I spit my coffee.. LOL. but we re all feeling this. Win or lose (and likely lose), in the end all of the shortcomings show themselves in the end. "magical" almost always (in the case of the Mets) imply's they are exceeding expected performance. When they are on top of the wave it's all good, but not working on the shortcomings along the way never ends well. That said, I love this team and what they did.. it was my favorite season in the longest time.
Uhhh, it’s not the version of the Mets that you’ve seen so far this postseason because the dodgers bullpen isn’t letting them be that version. This whole postseason the Mets MO has been being able to comeback from a deficit late in the game. So the version of them going down early in the game hasn’t changed, they just haven’t been able to comeback against this dodgers bullpen.

Why is this Dodger fan also becoming a "Why Am I a Mets Fan?" fan? Because you both are highly entertaining and insightful. You deliver great pods and I'm looking forward to sticking around.
@@pinverarity Very well said. I just might find myself going back to earlier episodes after this season ends.
Also because Dodgers media has become sort of lame and way too buttoned up and corporatized. We are the new evil empire
Like most of the comments here, I’m a Dodgers fan and I’m enjoying your podcast. I’ve watched a couple of episodes and you girls break the game down very well. I’ll keep watching. Great work!
I love your show. This is my favorite Mets content! For the record, I too am at acceptance.
I have never seen a more disciplined lineup than the Dodgers. This, along with the Mets’ lineup choking.
What a difference a daay makes.
Dodgers fan here, but really been enjoying your commentaries and passion for the game. Keep up the good work, it's not over yet, but there's always next year!
Nobody knows "there's always next year!" better than Dodgers fans lol.
@@jonnyt16 it’s become my annual tradition 😂🤣
Good show yall have ladies. Dodgers fan here and yall popped up on my feed. Glad you did.
Remember that one of these teams has the No. 1 Payroll in the MLB and the other team is the Dodgers
ohtani betts 1-2 in a lineup is a friggin cheatcode and when they are hot like they have been these past couple of games who can beat them?
Don’t forget Freddie Freeman didn’t even play
All the batters have been great, the whole dodgers lineup is fearsome. Its like theyre getting tips from ohtani.
I have been enjoying the two of you as a fellow baseball girly. (Dodgers fan) You two are awesome.
Dodgers fan here. Like the saying goes, it aint over till its over. Uphill battle for you guys and baseball can always turn on a dime. But you can clearly see the Dodgers outclass the Mets from what we've seen
It’s over
Hi Dodger fan here. You are both really good. Love the show
From a Dodgers fan perspective...the job is not finished and the Mets are a great comeback team. I'm not celebrating until we get 5 more wins.
Stop be modest! Dodgers will win this! Let's be real! Mets have no offense and our bullpen is stacked! Stop it already!
Thanks for crossing thst over out! Only Believe, All things are Possible, Only Believe 🙏.
another excellent show. you need to go live next time. cheers. stay true
If only the Mets could knock it out the park like you two have this series! 😳
Dodger fan here! I like your takes on the game and keep up the good work 💙🤍
Loving YOU, Ashley & Samantha from a loyal Dodger fan. Thank you both for your insight!
Dodgers fan here, absolutely enjoy your podcast. Keep up the great work. I’ll definitely be back to watch✌️
Dodgers fan here. Regardless of the end results, you guys are great! I like your enthusiasm and honesty. Keep up the great work!
No matter what happens tonight I'm proud of our guys for a great season.
Mets are good
The Dodgers are just the better team nothing to be mad about.
Today?
Dodgers fan here love your channel ladies!
When Maton gave up that home run, lot of people were pissed, cursing, getting up and going up the steps to the concourse.
Hoping to hear more baseball from you two beyond this series👍🏽
What's up with all the friendly Dodger fans in here, I hate them even more now (ha)
Dodgers really dont swing at anything remotely off the plate, also thought umps squeezed them at times.
Can y’all PLEASE cover the Dodgers next year!! So fun and so good. Love your takes and candor. 😊
You are very smart and you know your stuff. Enjoy your show. Wish that I knew about you podcast soon
THANK YOU I’ve said that to myself why couldn’t we be the Guardians last night it was just outrageous
Really enjoyed your content. Dodgers were in Mets shoes in 2020 vs ATL. Look how that turned out. There is hope for you ladies. Go Blue!!
30-9 really is the stat that tells you what’s happened. Love the team for making it so far. It’s not over but it’s bleak.
I’m a Dodger fan. Love your passion! I’ve been tracking the Mets run towards the end of the season. To win a key game against the Braves, beat the Brewers, and the Phillies is insane! What a run already. Respects!
I’m a Dodgers fan. I know them too well lol. You guys are still in it 😂
As a Dodgers fan I wanted to watch you guys so I can know more about the Mets players and understand who you guys get hyped for.
No guarantees! I’m sure the Phillies thought so last year, and look what happened.
Is there more Dodgers fan here?
Dude I was at that game. Probably one of the most depressing things I’ve ever witnessed.
Found this channel just this week but you ladies are smart and funny hope you continue covering the playoffs post Mets because Go dodgers!!
You guys are great! Go Blue!
Dodgers fan here , go Mets !!
Let’s hope they win today
Just because of you guys
Thanks for the podcast ..love it’s !!’
I'm a Dodgers fan but honest to god I thought this was the miracle Mets year.
Am a dodger fan I have never heard you two but I really enjoyed your conversation you two had great baseball talk 👍
Also Dodgers fan too great analysis and we understand the frustration. Great podcast 😊
A real die hard Mets fan will not give up on the Mets. You got to know our history to believe in them. Its not over yet for the Miracle Mets.
