  • Kano Nigeria is not the best place to expect good nightlife in Africa.
Kano as in other northern states in Nigeria are Muslim state and operates sharia law, which prohibits the drinking of alcohol, partying, and playing sound music

Thoughts that some Nigerians have of the North are wrong. Many people that have been to the North will attest to positive experiences they had.

It’s a shame how we Africans carry onto us foreign spiritual cultures and try to outdo the foreign creators of these cultures. Example, Algeria 🇩🇿 is 99% Muslim but they are totally circular country. Turkey 🇹🇷 is 90% Muslim but they are circular and more tolerant to non-Muslim cultures in the open than even western countries. But Africans, if they don’t exaggerate their Christianity then they exaggerate their Islamic adherence and even practice sharia 😂.

Samme Samme-nlar, that's why we are where we are today - underdeveloped. The host said "Kano is a Muslim and Sharia State", and this is Nigeria a secular country. We are still deceiving ourselves. He asked his 'guide' the driver his perception of the people from the East, and the guy couldn't give a straight answer.

Ur framing your questions the wrong way. The question do you feel safe is prejudiced and ambiguous. Again, the major scare Nigerians have about movements to other geographical locations is more about insecurity in transit and not about insecurity in destination domains.
