Johns Pass holds such a special place in my heart. From back when I was a kid visiting so often and so many memories with my parents ( who now have passed) and then with my own kids and grandkids. Its was just such a special place. I will hold onto my memories though. Prayers for the business owners as they rebuild their lives and wonderful businesses. 😢🙏💔 I look forward to going back to this awesome place someday.
This what we are about in pinellas county helping our neighbors in a devastating time like we have to stay positive and strong we will be back to flordiaing as soon as we can
I loved Johns Pass. The spice shop, bubba gumps, I filmed a news package there when I was in Ct. School of Broadcasting. I used to be on WFLA. This is heartbreaking 😭
John's pass and the surrounding areas are beautiful places to visit and go lay on the beach and eat great seafood but I would never live near the ocean or any body of water I'm 45 minutes from John's pass and I'm leaving the area tired of seeing all this destruction year after year it's not worth rebuilding but if you want to live in paradise there's consequence of living near the sea prayers to all sorry for everyone's loss of property and stuff and life's ..
2 Chronicles 7:14 King James Version 14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
Very very wealthy retired married couples having a bad time...breaks my heart to see them loose their winter homes...now they will have to live in their homes in New Jersey.
Johns Pass is a fun quaint little shopping area with open sidewalks, wharf, and fishing boats ( not big fancy yachts) fun local little shops, souvenir places and lighthearted atmosphere eateries. There is nothing high end ritzy or expensive about it. The local business owners are friendly and the whole vibe is friendly. Lots of families visiting there and making memories. I did as a kid with my mom and dad - who now passed away.😢 And with my own kids and grandkids. I am 70 yes old and Johns Pass will hold a very special place in my heart as it takes me back to memories with my mom and dad. Prayers they can rebuild it and their livelihoods. 🙏

No one feels bad anymore for people that live harboring Insanity. You know doing the same thing multiple times expecting a different result. See, the Hospital Trauma center that built a high wall around the center. Still insane, but at least better. The key is to build Higher than the High water mark. Walls fail. Pumps fail and the retaining wall creates the 9th ward New Orleans situation. Build higher, at least 25’ above sea level. Or remain Insane.
Some guy on TH-cam made a video and said he lost his home the 1st time, then raised it up 3 ft and lost it on the 2nd hit because it was still not high enough. Now with this hurricane, he said the water level was 5 ft higher than the last hurricane. Now his plan is to go up 10 ft ....

There’s multiple Caddy’s locations and yes, there is one in John’s Pass.
Shame on all the people who left their pets behind. You were told to bring your pets if you evacuate!
It's disgusting to do that!

How much are taxpayers paying to help these privileged people continue to live on the waters edge?
Our insurance will sky rocket, that is what will happen.

People need to stay away from the ocean. It should be illegal to be near the ocean
