Hi Deepa when I went to India we went to England then to Dubai then Delhi we fly with emirate and the flight was amazing the plane was clean all the screens to watch movies everything was perfect I would tell anyone to travel emirates enjoy your trip take care bye.
Air India, United and American fly non-stop from New York Metro. It is only 15 hours total. It's easier than connecting, because you arrive on the same day and don't get jet lagged. If you go nonstop, you will feel like going again and again.

We fly Air India instead of changing here and there, also when I travelled in Emirates last time the food was very disappointing,also behavior of the staffs was so rude.

6:55 Air India has now ordered brand new planes. They should be phased in soon. The airline is now owned by Tata and they are upgrading everything.

Hi Deepa! Helpfull video! I'm traveling to Kathmandu from the NY area and did see the Newark departures on Air India which is the best for me as it's less than 30 minutes from my home and an Uber cost $70 to $100 less than from Newark - also the shortest flight duration. Air India from Newark stops in Delhi, then I continue to Kathmandu.
I also saw horrible Air India reviews. All the planes out of Newark are very old. 99% of screens and jacks do not work. Some seats do no recline. Seats worn. Only positive is a lot stated food was good and staff nice. I like very slightly but was concerned it may be made too spicy for me as most of Air Indian passengers I think are Indian and used to a higher spice level. What is your opinion? Did you pre-order a special type of meal?
The USB ports didnt work to charge your devices? As I'm concerned I will run out of power on my tablet when I land in Nepal 18 hrs later.

Nope! India did not smell yucky. The pollution is worrying (the dust) but it was not smelly.
