Konami loves putting the cart before the horse (Spright carrot and baldrake reprints), they are twisted. How they revealed Runick in generaider is another recent example of how they are intentionally releasing things in completely crazy seeming, yet obviously planned ways.
I already bought three boxes from my local store, the reprints are insane, it’s all foiled so you get your money’s worth. Sure they didn’t print a few cards that we’re necessary (prosperity, etc.) but P.U.N.K. and Adventure is something to work with.
Prosperity needs a cheaper reprint so they can put it at one as it deserves. What a busted card

So as a Crystal Beast player, Golden Rule is INSANE, the card is so good and adds a lot of consistency to the deck….but the deck is already incredibly consistent. The deck has 4 cards that search basically anything in the deck including each other. The card is clearly crazy but it doesn’t solve any of the problems with the deck; the problems being that it has to run like 10 bricks, and while you have basically infinite link/Xyz materials that don’t lock you into/out of anything, you need to summon like 10 monsters before you can put up any sort of negation/protection, so often the end board is a primal being token or just Bagooska and a dream. So yeah very excited for Golden Rule, when the deck does go off it’s awesome and this makes it even more awesome, but it’s not gonna make the deck that much better relative to like Kashtira, Labrynth, Spright, or Branded.

Duality can turn hugin into a tuner, which allows for nice synchro plays, and geri into Fabled Unicore, which is super easy to allow for multiple negates given runick's ability to manipulate its hand size in opponents turn
you could already make unicore in runick, all you needed to do was play cerburel.
@@thezestylime0989 True, but now you can play this since it can put back runick fusions for a draw, also function as a way to make arc light with 2 hugins, barrone if you play level 8s (dangers), coral dragon then barrone with hugin + 1-2 geris, or the unicore, which you can make in chain during your opponents turn to get 1 guaranteed negate
Its unsearchable so just run assault synchron, cerburrel or anything else instead. Duality is also minus which runick can't afford before it gets going so if you get stopped early its not extending you like the other 2 would be.
@@luminous3558 It also lets you dodge imperm / veiler though which helps a lot in not being stopped, and clearing your hugin means even if they do ash it your emz is still free. Also both the option you suggested are also unsearchable
Plus it gives a draw pretty much every time you use it by putting back geri + hugin

Bradamante is crazy in my cube! It's a level 1 Warrior, so it's easy to use with Isolde, a Fire with 200 DEF searchable with Flamvell Firedog and UFO Turtle, a reverse Graydle, a perfect Rekindling target, equip spell support, and Infernoble Knight synergy. Absolutely nuts!
joshua shadow light in dragon you can target red eyes black metal or dis pater and sumon the dragon maid lvl 10 and is a negate 1n your 4 sumon is nice also whit duality you can do the same
The demand for Ultra rare Carrot is zero? Nah my man. There were four Spright players at locals today and they were hyped about Carrot. People hate commons more than they hate mix matched rarities between an archetype.

Top of the line QCR are still going to be WAYYYY too expensive.
Chances of pulling the right one (I.P) is between 1:75 to 1:100 if the chances of pulling a QCR is 1:3 or 1:4.
There are other good ones for sure that will help stabelize the top but still.
I can not understand why they arent guaranteed 1 per box. It makes so much more sense when you have 25 (!!!!) different ones. People would have creamed their pants and bought sealed like there is no tomorrow. Which means more money for komani.
Also in case people is wondering. The chances of pulling starlight I.P is 1:96 so there is that.

Sure the archetype is not very good, but it‘s a really nice support card and I can‘t wait to experiment with it

Flame Wingman cheats out Sunrise. It also gives us Favorite contact which is used for Shining Neos Wingman which gives us an extra 2-3 pops on an opponents turn and a big tower that also does burn damage and cannot be bounced or destroyed by card effects.
Bystial Baldrake being the only Bystial to get a reprint in this set (Lubellion is quarter century only, so it's kind of different), gives me a lot of hope that the other Bystials will be reprinted in the September tins. Also tells me they'll likely be reprinted as ultras instead of supers in it
Why is nobody talking about the fact Substitoad still has no reprint!! It's a $20 RARE from LIGHT OF DESTRUCTION
The value of duality in branded is not in dragoon, its about the general boost ur deck gets. If you start for example with the opening line or fusion line its already pretty much a gg. But with tge luber line u end on the weekest spkt, with only one mj and grang + merc. So in best case u ve 4 interruptions. But 99% of branded decks doesnt play the new synchro so u ve 3. If u cant get lulu u end on 2. But with dragoon u get a 3k tower with an hard interuption and that will give u the edge. In addition it boost every line + with nadir you ve now 6 cards which could lead to a broken board.
I love playing unsearchable cards that are dead unless I am winning already.

All they needed to do was have the I:P as the alt art same with an alt Zeus or any other card that already have a starlight that they a want to print in quarter century secret. I think that would of kept the value of the starlight and not hurt them. The risk of "investing" in shiny cardboard. Lol
Set is good, but I'm still upset why they didn't reprint the regular BAs in this set 😢

I got second hand embarrassment from the chat when the hero card was shown. The card searches favorite contact to set up for shinning neos wingman. It’s like branded in red that summons 6k indestructible and can’t be bounced. This adds further interaction and ways to compensate the weakness of the deck. Is the deck good ?. No it’s ok.

some of the reprints feel weird. eclipse was a rare in tactical masters, terraforming and dark hole have 25 reprints at this point, you reprint the mathmech cards (minus the only expensive one superfactorial) after the deck gets banlisted. why?
sakitama smashers baldrake carrot etc... why are they here? they were commons in core sets this year. those slots couldve easily been other cards.
I agree, seeing people in the reveals open Dark Hole and Terraforming in their secret rare slot was concerning and I’ll be bummed if I get those in my openings. I understand giving them high rarity prints versus the commons from structure decks they have, but I think they even made them Quarter Century Rares in the set, which clearly they can do without actually taking up a secret slot, given Bystial Lubellion and Lady Labrynth weren’t reprinted in the main set. Pharoah’s rares in MAMA were like that too, I didn’t have to worry about opening a random Mirror Force in the set unless it was a Pharoah’s rare

The quarter century rares in this new set look way more like starlights. The ones in legendary collection didn't look like these. These are almost 1:1 starlights. I get if you don't want to spend that kind of money, but for Konami to reprint some of these as starlights again after ppl been paying$400- $1000+ is disgraceful.
tbf the after market is not really something I think Konami cares about and also being honest the only culprit of someone paying that much for cardboard is our selfs? I think that if you are going to buy such an expensive card you should keep in mind that there is a medium to high chance of it losing value.

@@ThunderflySc2 Tbf I think Konami is perfectly aware of the after market and actually are directly addressing the aftermarket by reprinting Zeus and I:P in the same rarities they just printed them in in the last 3 years. They're looking at the aftermarket and saying we want these to be more affordable in these rarities. I personally only spend that kind of money on GX era ultis, so I am in no way affected by this. But, I think it's pretty weak to have a lot of your base spending that kind of money on your product and then doing this to them because of a small group of people who are crying and wanting starlights to be essentially free. Those people need to buy their secret rares and stop trying to take any kind of chase away from others just because it's not obtainable for them. It's pure entitlement. How in the world these cards were painted as being too difficult to obtain in general in general is beyond me. Zeus's secret rare is like $30. He has a mega tin printing that's like $20 or less.

What do Labrynth mean to the history of the game? No premiere wins, no big attendance, no interesting mechanic, no popular acclaim, no impact in ygo's history -- all the opposite from Sky S. ENGAGE, which fully deserves the 25th ScR rarity. Meanwhile Super Poly, a consistent sideboard throughout 2014 onwards, tons of premiere wins, history in the F&L list, a plot card in anime and manga, but didn't get the rightfully deserved 25th rare. For the f*ck sake. Why Welcome Lab. got it? Boring card for a boring deck that won't ever see play in the near future, let alone for the next 25th years (my claim is that SuPoly and Engage will!).
Wasted slot. I hate when it happens. The card shouldn't receive that rarity. No excuses.
