“The bike broke itself” ... damn that’s funny! OMG, The whole story of the pipe is freaking hilarious! Nice start by the way! 😂 “Don’t stall it!”... you need to make this into a full length feature film! “Mile one” comes over 10 minutes into the video... totally loved this!!!
I run a crf450 perch and lever on my XR600. The decompressor cable hooks right up to the little hot start lever OK if you leave a little slack in the cable. It declutters the bars, looks neat and gets rid of the nasty standard decompression lever thats ready to stab you in the knee! You don't need a lever that long just to open the exhaust valve a little at TDC. Mine works a treat and i think it makes the clutch pull a bit lighter too. Try it. Aftermarket or pattern CRF450 levers are cheap and plentiful.
@@fastguysslowbikes hey i put a HRC 628cc big bore kit in my 93 600! Really livens it up, so much more power, had to put in heavier clutch springs to keep it from slipping
Shows how good you need to know these bike's whole starting procedure. You could try double-tubing on the XR,. Saw it on a YT-vid. Haven't tried it myself yet.
one thing you prolly could of used on the 700 miles of muffler wire...is the wire twisting pliers to get it nice n tite!!! thats my 2 cents on that fix! ✌🏻
I got it done by thewheelmaster.com out of WA. Jim Burkman. You can send him your OE hubs and he will do the rest. I wanted to keep a stock set spare so I ordered CRF hubs and XR spacers from warp 9 and had them shipped to Jim. He did the rest.
I was on a one day membership, I purposely walked to the bike so I wouldn’t disturb other people’s races off the start. Go to my channel to see my holeshots ;)
Also never seen your twin on video, people will be shocked to see theres two of you. You're my favorite ❤️

I saw Scott Summers race his xr 600 at Loretta Lynn's several times, he was always flying up front on the big girl !
That's awesome. It's too bad now all he does is spread q a non conspiracy theories on facebook.

Lol classic XR not starting when you want it to. The xr600 and xr650r only starts when it respects you and your right leg.
He was breaking starting procedure protocol and giving it gas.
@@fastguysslowbikes I have made that same mistake myself. Hahaha

Bib mousse and be done
@@fredted5115 Yeah, Not a fan of mousse personally. It rides weird and wears weird, but it's probably the best option for reliability.
I raced back in 1992, pretty stock 92' xr600r. Stock geared mine would run top speed 85mph, and regeared mine at 44-15 sprocket
Always ride a gear high use the torque. Awesome bike
i love the sound of the big-hero-600!!!
perfect kick procedure. fire bike
Loved my xr600r was very forgiving in bad terrain
If you twist the gas far enough during the race the grip wld be right were it needs to be

@@fastguysslowbikes thank you!
@@kayleighhall1799 it wasn't cheap. But they're about 3lb lighter. And triple cross laced like the OEMs.
Fun video!
This video true gem LMAO
HHmmm, lost the previous message. Well done young lady
Not to be rude, but no, no he doesn't have what it takes to race the xr600. LoL

@@64maxpower sad? I was seeing double and felt drunk.🤣🤣 Twins trip me out.

They really aren't that hard to start...
I've started mine with sneakers.
My 93 600 was easy to start , but if you crashed and the bike was hot it was a bitch !
