My great great uncle Thomas died in France at the age of 18 in ww1 his little sister Clara was 13 at the time and she lived to 101 so I knew her well. We still had his picture up in our house and think of him on remembrance Sunday xx

I think it’s great you have Mark to go around all the shops with. My husband (he’s called Mark) hates shopping and won’t even go “looking” 😳 even if I pick up anything he nearly has a heart attack... so it’s lovely to see you both just out looking and holding stuff up to each other. I loved that.... I’ve not been to Covent Garden in years, it’s one of my most favourite places x

Hahaha Mark. You are hysterical and so like my husband. I am always shouting James!! Like Nadia does with you. When we are in shops etc he will call my name and when I turn around he has something silly on his head or is doing something else that makes me mad but laugh at the same time. We need to educate children in schools about the importance of rememberance day and why we give 2 minute silence to remember the Fallen. If we don’t it will be forgotten forever. We will remember them.

I think that Brexit is partially a result of people forgetting their history. Forgetting that our ancestors fought against fascism and to promote democracy. What is most saddening is that the countries we fought so hard to free from tyranny, are turning their back their backs on the very freedoms they benefit from. It’s a scary world at the moment.
