Chris, I can't express how much your kind words and feedback help me keep pushing. Thank You so much for the sub. I will do the same and will reach out with a few questions on a Mavic upgrade in the future.
@@markthecre8torsounds great Mark. Just FYI, the Avata II is rumored to release next month (April), if that interests you. But the Mavic 3 Pro rules them all, in my opinion!! I bought the a7siii way back on release day but sold it last year and bought the zve1 and a7cii. Loving those cameras! A couple weeks ago I was missing my siii so much that I bought the FX3. It’s the camera I always wanted even for the 3 years I owned the siii. Having all three cameras is overkill for me as a hobby but I don’t care, I’m happy!! I’m sure you can relate. I’ve been checking out all your fx3 content. You do fine work on your channel, keep it up! We’ll catch up soon on drone stuff
@@CAMTechChris Hey Chris, Thanks for the heads up on the AVATA II, I fly some FPV but the tinkerer in my pushed me towards building and then flying. I have a 3in cinewhoop and a 5in quad I occasionally fly. I currently have a Mavic 2 Pro that is still in service (not much though) LOL. I fully understand your position with the camera body situation, there is some overlap. In my situation, I had the A7IV and later added the FX3. I have noticed there is enough difference between those two physically and in features that they both serve different purposes for me. If the A7IV goes down, WHATEVER!! If my FX3 goes down 3800.00 will vanish from my bank account in minutes. I too am a hobbyist and if you are having fun and enjoying yourself that alone is worth the money spent.
Battery is ok, until you up the codec, add the XLH handle, etc.. 2 camera batteries that last game i shot. Atomos...another story. Definitely need to grab a V mount set
Yep, upping the codec and accessories will drain the standard batteries with the quickness. When running the camera aka bare or minimal for incognito mode the normal batteries do an okay job.
Another great video man way to go
Thanks Joe, trying to squeeze them in there.
Good stuff here Mark. I enjoy your content and just punched the sub button. Thank you!

Tbh, my camera supports charging while using it, so i use a powerbank and a usb cable
Great to hear, the higher the out is key. The one I have is 5v and it will hold the level steady during usage. Thanks for the feedback. Happy 📽️
One way to save battery on Sony is to never buy one.
Fair enough, 😉. What is your camera of choice if I may ask? My first serious camera was a Canon.
Yawn.
