    What is that plate at the very bottom? The one holding everything and that would also assume you would slide into your tripod? Can't find it in the accessories listed. TIA

    • @colourco
      @colourco  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Pardon our delayed response. The plate at the very bottom is a tripod plate, and the plate on top of that is a SmallRig plate that holds the rails. I can't find the link for it on their site at the moment.

    Nice. I would flip the back plate so the battery goes in the inside so you can safely have the monitor on stowed without worrying if it will crack on that switch, that's how I have mine. you should plug in the camera to the battery as well! The Sigma 24 to 70 is a great lens but only for photography in my opinion.

      @kieran2790 ปีที่แล้ว

    I see so many people using an fx3 with a 3.4 mm mic. spending an extra 500-1000 for an fx3 over an a7siii and not using the xlr handle never made much sense to me.

    • @brianhawkins
      @brianhawkins ปีที่แล้ว

      I get what you're saying but the XLR handle isn't very sturdy and can't accommodate a field monitor.

    Watch out with those batteries. I've ordered two now and both arrived dead and completely un-chargeable - judging from reviews on amazon, I'm not the only one to experience this. I won't be using them again...spend the extra money to get a small rig one instead.

       @uptonfilms95 A matte box and neutral-density filter (ND) would complete this setup. He could have recommended one without being so nasty about it. @martinmartin, who shoots for 12 hours, when a 99-watt hours battery will only going to give you about 3-4 hours of power? Also, what difference does the aperture of f22 make with the weight or how the rig is held? #stopthehating
