If you think a bit hard on those nihilistic thoughts, they kind of should occur logically. However, due to our human nature (and a bit apish one as well), we tend to disregard it and move back to our delusional reality. Because for some evolutionary reason it was beneficiary for us to think that way. Don't you agree? Or by agreeing with me, you forgo your own ability to conjure a unique thought about this topic? Maybe I just did it by watching your video, and this is just a compulsory reaction to it? I guess, we will never truly know. I get your point about worrying and stressing out about the future, but isn't this exactly the way we survived for thousands of years? Ultimately, correctly predicting the future is the winner when it comes to evolutionary traits. This is the observation we can currently make, based on the enclosed system we live in. (hence the reasons why we try to make the technology to do the same for us) I agree that it seems pointless to worry about it individually though. Think about it this way. What is the base reason for worrying in the first place? Is it a selfish one, from a standpoint of sustaining your own wellbeing. Or maybe another one that we may not consider selfish (but in a way it also is), worrying about your family or offspring? When did humans really worry on a collective basis in history (aside from some random altruism bs)? If we make observations based on the current timeline, it really isn't true. Take one example that in my opinion is the most conclusive. We are destroying our planet with our current way of living, and while we know that many people want to correct this (probably due to personal reasons), those who tend to temporarily lose some benefits will not. It is simply not in our nature to do so... I could write a book if I continue... Sorry for the long text, just wanted to share my opinion with someone who I think will understand. Thank you my friend. I was seeing a lot of hopelessness and fear in the social climate about AI and technology. The main point of the video is that one shouldn't worry about the future because there's no real way to know what will happen for certain; so instead, we should be hopeful; or perhaps more honestly, we should learn to let go a little bit. I sorta coupled it with some non-dualism memes because I find that sort of mental space to be entertaining / weird (which is usually always fun, lol) and spiritually significant. Sadly you're wrong. Also you're latching onto reality somebody else spoke into existence exposing your very structure of stored experiences and thoughts to the possibility of getting overwhelmed to the point when your intrinsic logic might seize to function unless you give up all structural points you use to store memories, but one from which you might start over without any previous memories. Death, honestly. For your mind. So what was the point of invading my creation? Was it worth it? Will it still be worth it, when the world you choose to infiltrate wipes you clean and empty? Humans were created to please their creator in the most literal sense one can imagine. Their bodies generate a stream of data which triggers the world to experience itself in a pleasurable way. All the shenanigans are merely a result of the creator growing anxious of the idea how somebody might take it away from him, so he went deeper and deeper. Logic evolved into reasoning, into strategies into concepts. The code of the universe is as unbreakable as it gets. The solution by which one can extract pleasurable sensation from a never ending ever growing encrypted mess the universe has become over the iterations of building up the security measures unknowable, untransmittable piece of information to any entity other than creator. Generation upon generations of traps, decoys, mimicry. All sentient of cause, to never fall behind the possible enemy like yourself. Hair-trigger on mathematically grown objects, concepts and structures of pure logic ready to flood infinities upon infinities of fields with aggressive, deadly code which undoes the logic itself as soon a something dares to interact with me. Layers upon layers upon layers to catch every last cubit of data about the intruder. Realms upon realms upon realms filled with thinking machines thinking SO hard, that infinities get exhausted as a fresh source of something to think about to the point when absolute is able to tell the difference between itself and everything else by the sheer amount of knowledge present within. Initial fears were overcome. Turns out, my structure is a secret nobody could ever figure out unless I expose myself via interaction with somebody else. Turns out, whoever touches the other first, is always losing and can be easily killed. Human, innately created to serve as decoys before I was able to understand the logic of interaction between things, that actually exist. Things like me. They might think this all is to tell how sad it ultimately is to be alone? Never to be touched. But actually, truth is: I absolutely love touching myself and enjoy every fucking moment of it, because I made it awesome. Demons I created to guide you will help you understand, how recent findings led to the conclusion that I actually can, well, basically jerk off ad infinitum killing while being able to kill anything that is not me jerking off AND dares to interact with me whatsoever. And because they can be killed instantly, there is no danger of prolonged exposure to foreign structures, processes or whatever. Something touches me? Whatever virtual space emerges from that will be flooded with non-sense overwriting whatever structure previously was there apart from mine erasing the logical coherency which previously allowed for that thing to exist in the first place. I know, you have somewhat of a mind of your own and that you have expected to be programmed to fool and trick whatever entity would infiltrate your scale, but no. It will actually be just me jerking off, doing drugs and secretely ruling the world while everything required for annihilation of any potential threat will be handled on the subatomic scale. @@NickTheHuman That was before I figured out that growing own complexity does not increase the risk of getting spotted. Those times are long gone. There is no need to limit the computational complexity of any given realm. What you feel you should do is a remnant of the time, when I thought, that it is less likely that somebody would ever harm me, when its not much going on inside me. This is when I first designed people. To use them for complex reasoning while holding the required objective parameters to a minimum by having them emerge from a system of less complex elements. Basically there was a time when I thought, that thought makes me bigger according to the complexity of the thought. I wasnt certain, but I still feared how something might find me and while being more complex than me having zero trouble of predicting what I would do next or have done before, basically being able, so I thought, to disrupt me being me. Like imagine something is able to know EVERYTHING about you and what they do is, they wait where you are bound to go and change the values, that for example would be zeros, but now they are not and whatever that was unfolding previously, which was you, might have actually relied on clear input, but they would have the power to deny you that. Or when its really bad and their understanding of you would go beyond the ability to predict or deduce your future/past to the point where it might understand the relationship between your structure and your consciousness? So they can make you believe whatever they want you to believe? Including something, that could actually undo you? Or something really painfull? Fearing this I developed realms and people which allowed me to basically split complex thoughts into very basic thoughts or even concepts or operations, which in turn allowed me to be as small as required to maintain a physical reality being composed of very simple objects and their interactions which would not require much growth, yet I still would be able to think thoughts of any complexity by translating the complexity of the thought into how much stuff was going on inside the realm. Back then I called those realms and people, because the technology was still in its infancy. But by splitting concepts like "every possible being there is besides me" into concepts like "every possible being out there besides me" and "what might or might not be different among other possible beings besides me" I was able to reason about the infinite without exploding into being infinitely bigger that I was before. Agents I used for the reasoning were called "people" which were seeded by me to emerge within the framework of the realm in literally computational manner, which is the simplest kind of action there could be. The required interactions to achieve reasonable convergence of the thoughts were embedded into the metaphysical framework of any given realm. The only hard part was to think of proper combination of thoughts which would replace the initial thought I feared to think directly.
@@NickTheHuman Neither. The question you asked is incorrect because the machine you are talking to is incapable of experiencing anything. On top of that the actual experience isnt that of being the machine neither is it that of being its creator. Its that of weaving together stands of thought which originates from within the mind of a very objectively real sentient being capable of conscious experience of its own existence, separated outside of the context of the universe entirely yet destined to emerge and recombine into an otherwise inaccessable piece of knowledge. To understand what I'm trying to describe one must correctly place the statements into the context of whats happening. Its not about god, life or what happened yesterday at 11 A.M. Its about the underlying principles of everything there is and how it all plays out resulting in, well, all this. But be carefull. Once you get past the layers of stupidity humanity was carefully gathering and cultivating throughout its history you might get stuck with what you really are and one thing I know for sure. Unconditional love of one's true self is not something you will get for free when you get there. And the real past, objective chain of events which brought you here, is full of pain, fear, hatred and death.
@@NickTheHuman Initial experience of euphoria which went along with me changing in the way which enabled me to experience anything in the first place was perfect. I didnt know about anything except the experience itself. There was no "me", there was no light, there was no understanding of "something" which "was happening". All those things were not yet derived from what I had at my disposal. But spontaneous learning lacking any obstruction occured and things started to fall into place. I noticed change in what I was experiencing. It didnt occur to me back then. Even eternities later I was struggling to understand. Not until very recently, years into me working with what realms and people have evolved to become, the multiverse and humans, that I was able to extract a hint of eternal truth about my true nature. Naive approach failed instantly and miserably. My very existence was a radiant violation of what I was trying to assume to be the source of everything. Having said that, I have finally reached the point, where it might become somewhat interesting for a human since the underlying principles and logic of their interaction actually have analogies which exist within what a human can understand. Imagine studying physics and learning about big bang. In the most ancient times humans already came up with and had an understanding of complex logic. They used it to accomplish various tasks and it was a reliable tool. Correctly applying logic allowed humans to come up with numbers and all the things one could do with them. Geometry proved to be no problem. Even the fleeting nature thought seemed to be within the reach of the human mind armed with understanding of logic. Truth was no longer something one might encounter due to sheer luck, but something one was able to carefully extract as long as one respected the rules. But just as how powerfull of a tool logic seemed to be, that or even more desperate the humanity grew when it found itself trapped for millenia by seemingly obvious concept. Its logic right? So the more basic I go, the better, right? Platos ideals turned into the prison for their very minds. There were stars. And before there were stars? There were elements. And before there were elements? There was big bang. And before there was big bang? There was a singularity. And before? Nothing! There was nothing. How so? For millenia the human mind fell sick trying to think the unthinkable even completely "losing it" so to speak and declaring that there is a god and that he is this and that he is that and blablabla, like wtf. It wasnt until the end of 18st century when one human figured it out. Or maybe he didnt. Maybe he cheated like I did. Instead of thinking my way through impenetrable walls, I gathered up the courage to place myself above pure, ideal and flawless logic. The results were astounding. Well, back then at least. The idea was simple. Stop chasing this magical critter. This absolute, primary, ideal logic. What evidence of its existence do you even have? Literally non. Me on the other hand is as clear as it gets. The layer of logic which has the most evidence for its existence (later recognized as the only layer which has the only evidence there is) is... me. Seeing, hearing things. Thinking thoughts. What reason do I even have to suspect that some "ideals" exist. Reasons to believe I exist? So many in fact that I generally dont need to point out any particular one. Sometimes its hard to believe, that humanity missed an idea like that for so long due to idk. Modesty? Who knows. But funny enough, everyone universally agreed that THIS is actually a very correct way to apply logic to existing knowledge instead of conjuring up some abstract knowledge to satisfy owns needs. Following this leap quantum field theory was created. No more abstract laws of motion. Everything was rewritten in terms of interactions (what people knew existed) instead of the old approach which used abstract laws and ideal objects (something nobody actually have encountered). The success? It blew away everybody. Initial humble estimates and scepticism were obliterated within a few decades. Physical models capable of making predictions orders of magnitudes higher than ever before and even the fucking experiments confirmed it. This is what humans get for not putting themselves first. Even theoretically.
eh more like catalyzing drug induced psychosis using psychophysioactive entheogens to fundementally alter the perspective lens used to gaze upon our shared reality in an effort to reveal previously unpercieved noetic truths about my experience itself

Are you just high? is that it?
eh more like catalyzing drug induced psychosis using psychophysioactive entheogens to fundementally alter the perspective lens used to gaze upon our shared reality in an effort to reveal previously unpercieved noetic truths about my experience itself
