I saw your comment saying you don't have the Atlantis. Get it. If you want to borrow one I can bring it. I'm pretty close.
On the topic of the video: I own every Lauten microphone with multiple pairs of many of them. I love Lauten. The Clarion is my kick mic. Always. The Eden, Atlantis, and Clarion are a godsend with flexibility getting a top quality result extremely fast. The LS-208 and 308 are the perfect solution to condenser bleed while still sounding like a top shelf microphone. I can use any microphones I want on toms, but I'm going with those. Even the super cheap LA-120, 220, and 320 deserve some serious respect.

I don’t have the 320 either. What do you find you use those for?

@@RecordingStudioLoser I like them right next to the beater (to the right of the foot and kick pedal) capturing the slap. I favor the Neumann M50 for this, but with younger or less controlled drummers I'll put the 320 there instead so I'm not afraid to get it damaged due to being fairly cheap in comparison.
I like to use the 320 for a 2nd pair of drum room mics about 1.5 to 2 feet off the ground with the primary rooms being a pair of ribbons placed higher up.
When I've got stereo ribbon overheads I like to use a tube mic as a mono capture to add some of the detail back in right down the center. I'll usually use the Eden, but I've used the 320 and it works great.
I really like the 320 on dark acoustic guitars.

What about LA-220 on overhead ? Any conclusions ?

My Mic is a AT2035 sounds really good. Very versatile. Never needed another mic that is how good it is.

I’m just starting to build my mic locker. I was interested in the LA-220’s but the reviews and clips I’ve come across left me a bit confused. How would you describe their tone and character?

If you're a "loser", I'm not detecting it. Cheers
