    I have the same fo! I agree; the 'spice' is different. And I LOVE this fragrance.

    That looks awesome!! I love the sort of “basicness” so to speak. Whereas; you have a beautiful body butter that you could add any skin safe color and fragrance oil of choice or for a specific season or occasion 🙂 again thank you for all of the time and work you put in! I absolutely love the videos….the mass amount of info in the blog posts, your encyclopedia and website is where it’s at though!! I appreciate it! ☮️💟

    Omg I love it .Hi, I'm a super fan of your videos and you're an inspiration with every explanation you give. I want to do my body butter. But my question? can i add allantoin in my formulation

    • @HumblebeeAndMe
      @HumblebeeAndMe  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello! Allantoin is water soluble, so it will not work in a product like this. You can learn more about it in the Humblebee & Me DIY Encyclopedia (www.humblebeeandme.com/diy-encyclopedia/) :)

    This is amazing! I’ve made a few batches of the pumpkin spice butter with the essential oils and then with pumpkin spice fragrance oil. Now I’m off to search for macadamia oil! Would arrowroot or isopropyl help for greasiness, or does that not matter due to the oils used?

    • @HumblebeeAndMe
      @HumblebeeAndMe  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you so much! This fat blend is pretty dang light, but you could swap some of the macadamia nut oil for some isopropyl myristate (IPM) quite easily to make it even lighter :) Happy making!

    • @HumblebeeAndMe
      @HumblebeeAndMe  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Unfortunately, cellulite is not the sort of thing that can be scrubbed away-it's too deep in the skin for cosmetics to make a difference.

    Do you get any leaking when using paper board packaging for body butters?

    • @HumblebeeAndMe
      @HumblebeeAndMe  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It REALLY depends on the specific container. The ones I use (they're from YellowBee.ca-linked in the blog!) are good and don't soak through. I've used other paper board containers that saturate in a matter of days and look gross. So yeah-they CAN work, but you need good ones :)

    I made this and still found it to be greasy, even with arrowroot powder. Am I just not grasping what body butter is? Is it supposed to leave a sheen on your skin?

    • @TracyD2
      @TracyD2 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You probably would like using lotions instead. With a lot of water included and emulsifier. Most body butters are pretty oily and leave a sheen. You could substitute lighter dryer oils instead as well. I find it works well after bath/shower with skin still damp then rub it in. Still butters are very rich perfect for dryer skin types, which personally I love in my older years.

    • @HumblebeeAndMe
      @HumblebeeAndMe  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I'd agree with Tracy; even the lightest body butters are still entirely (or almost entirely) fat, and will never be as light as an emulsion can be. You can also try applying less body butter-over-applying is a surefire way to end up with very shiny skin :) Happy making!

    Do you no longer add cornstarch?

    • @HumblebeeAndMe
      @HumblebeeAndMe  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's not a "no longer" thing, it's a "not needed for this formulation" thing :) A bit like how, if I have oatmeal for breakfast, it's not a "I no longer eat eggs" thing, it's a "I didn't have eggs this morning because I ate something else" thing 😊 Happy making!
