I had heard one was in the works but that was years ago, and Avalanche is working on other stuff right now. So considering all we have are rumors on it that are years old by now, not to mention WB’s pledge to ‘focus on live service’, I assume we’re not getting one. At the very lease if one had been in development we would have heard something to tie in with the upcoming Mad Max movie (or did it already come out? Lol). Either way, despite demand both Mad Max and Days Gone are prob never seeing sequels. And that’s unfortunate.
Mad Max was my favorite underrated game. But, another underrated, under the radar game for me was Shadow Warrior 2 by Flying Wild Hog. That game was a lot of fun
Infinite Wealth is the most recent Yakuza/LAD game, Man Who Erased His Name came before it. Such a great series though. I finally sat down and played through all of them, and the Judgement spinoffs, in a row last year and it was honestly one of the best gaming experiences I’ve maybe ever had. The stories, the gameplay, the sheer amount of content, every game is just awesome. Anyone who’s never tried these they are must plays. Ot at least play one in your gaming career. You won’t be disappointed.
I never finished Mad Max. I ran into a game breaking bug. One of the Top Dog minibosses was supposed to drop some paint that was required to progress in the story but it was nowhere to be found once I defeated him. Since there was just a single save I couldn't go back and try again and I didn't want to start over and replay 20+ hours to get back to that point to try again.
@WiindSky0 Would you kindly double-check that? Infinite Wealth: Like a Dragon is the fastest-selling game in the entire series; prior to that, Like a Dragon 7 sold the majority of its copies worldwide. In Infinite Wealth, Kiryu is also the main character, and ichiban is very fun loving character
Loved the first evil within. The 2nd one was so much brtter. I thought it still had a great horror element to it and then just did everything better than the 1st one. Mad Max is a great and very underrated game. The combat is great. Exploration is fun. May be a little empty in some part, but it's expected in a post-apocalyptic world. Love the connection to the vehicle. It feels like a character of its own. The characters are cool, the upgrades are done right, and the gameplay in general is just real fun
I am fairly certain Yakuza Like a Dragon did well as Yakuza has become more well known since O, Kiwami & Kiwami 2 dropped on the PS4. Bully did get a remaster back on the Xbox 360 named the Scholarship edition. Another for modern consoles isn't likely, i think the Scholarship edition was around 2007/8. Nice list, i have played all bar Yakuza as the games in the series are huge time sinks & i am a fool for completion.
@PixelDragonOfficial The Yakuza series is great. The amount & variety of content you get in each game is momentous. One could spend many hundreds of hours & not scratch the surface.
@WiindSky0 Yeah, i believe the series is done now, though, because of the issues with the actors' likeness or something like that, correct me if i am wrong.
Medium was the most boring game i have played to the point I skipped every single cutscene and even the end cutscene lol... I don't even know the story 😂😂
Would you like a sequel to Mad Max? 🤔
Like the great CJ from GTA San Andreas said a couple of times:
"Does the pope shit in the woods?"
but Of course, i had so much fun with that game, so underrated:)
A sequel is in the works. At least, it was reported to be sometime last year.

Nah I don't think so.... The first one didn't make money at all...@@joet6434
I felt like I stole from the developers of Mad Max when I got it on sale for $4.99.

I really really liked mad Max but titanfall 2 is the most underrated game... For how good it is it should be more famous than COD games
Mad Max, Shadow of War and Rage 2 are really so much fun to play. Gameplay feel battery smooth in those games.

Metal gear survive is an underrated game in my opinion, didn’t get to finish it but has always been in the back of my mind

The medium is so good legit worth playing no bs
To be honest Darksiders series is one of those franchise that don't know what identity they want to crave. Similarly, Watch Dogs series
Great list...👌🏻 You never disappoint us bro ❤
Thank you so much 😀
Max Payne 3 deserves a mention very underrated game I finished it 5 times still not bored best shooting mechanics in 3rd person genre
Mad max and sunset overdrive both need sequels

Immortals FR was a great game it's a shame the sequel was cancelled.

@WiindSky0 Could be that they don't enjoy turn based combat or the change of protagonist. I wonder if Judgement & Lost Judgement did well or not?
Fair enough but I think it should be even more popular, the number of games we have with such great stories is amazing
