Proper looking truck...glasspacks and them go together since day 1 No worries of an accident in that one! They will be the crumple zone not you. Great color combo
Your cam shaft probably has a flat lobe on that cylinder, and is causing the lifter to tick. I don't plan to paint the truck because I like the patina, also good paint and body work is very expensive.
@@willfrancone3908 i took the engine out. pulled the heads. so far ive found loose timing chain. what appears to be a cam with very little wear. sunken exhaust and intake valves. heads are at the machine shop now while i clean and paint the short block
@@willfrancone3908 so the culprit was sunken valve seats. had a valve job done with 3 angles and hardened seats put in. she runs like a dream. videos are on my channel
Nice Truck, I hope you get a lot of enjoyment out of it and no 'a hole' or illegal 'a hole' (also known as a demoCRAP wanabe) runs into you. Beautiful engine rebuild. The best sticker on the back window is the 'don't tread on me'. I wish you only the best! I pitty you having to live in the 'banana republic of california' - just full of libturds!
Yeah, I drive this to highschool and every other day some libtard white girl flips me off from the sidewalk. Then I just blow out their eardrums with my 390. Lol
Glass packs are the way to go , truck sounds great !

Your truck has a very good throttle response
Great video, love the sound, awesome truck.
Beautiful sounding truck
Thank you
Beautiful engine !
I think you sold me on deciding between 12in or 18in glass packs!
Yeah, I worried 12" would be to loud. The 18s have a decent idle and are loud when you get into the high rpms
Oh, the engine bay reveal was worth it. 😌
Beautiful truck
Nice truck! The fuel filter so close to the dizzy makes me nervous though. I have a similar setup on my 70 F250
Sounds good 👍
Definitely ready to drive my 72 390. Kinda curious how the Fe sounds going thru the gears with glasspacks.
If you don't mind making a video
Great sound
Hundredth subscriber!!!!! Love that old truck
Thanks for Subscribing!!
Your welcome👍
Seeet truck. I’m building a 428 for a ‘56 Ford Customline
i have a 1967 merucry monterey sounds just like it

I always hate the lope, mine has it just like urs, I've looked into everything
Whats that dipstick sticking way up there like that for?
It's for a cabover truck. Still works fine and it's easy to reach
What length did glass packs did you have
18 inch cherry bombs
22 inch are even louder
I'm jealous I saw a brake booster!
Fuckin badass
Who's that jumping with a 390
I have a 1970 f250.. but with a misfire on cylinder 3 and a ticking noise. Nice truck, are you going to do the paint a bodywork?

Yes, it's not the original engine
