- A GOOD OLD FASHIONED CHRISTMAS IN ENGLAND 🎄 Christmas villages, Christmas baking, mulled wine, cozy// There's no place like England for a classic Christmas! In this video, we'll take you on a tour of some of the most beautiful places in England, including Richmond in Yorkshire, the Yorkshire Dales National Park & picture postcard Christmas villages. We stayed at the unique Culloden Tower belonging to the Landmark Trust enjoying its beautiful architecture, going for walks in Richmond, Christmas baking & making mulled wine! The countdown to Christmas has begun. On our way home, we visited Tennants Auctioneers, UK's largest family owned auctioneers in Leyburn, Yorkshire which is simply an amazing place for every antique lover.

RECIPE GINGERBREAD:
Ingredients
600g self-raising flour
250g icing sugar
200g butter
6 tablespoons of honey
2 tablespoons of cocoa power
2 eggs
1 teaspoon of baking powder
1 teaspoon of all spice (or Lebkuchengewürz)
Mix everything together and put in the fridge over night. Use a rolling pin for the dough and put in your moulds or cookie cutters. Bake for 5-6 minutes at 150-175 degrees Celsius. Enjoy!

So glad I’ve found your channel. We lived in Germany for fifteen years on and off as my husband was in the British army. Seeing all the German products and traditions takes me right back to those happy times. When we returned to England we missed all the German products you have shared with us. Thankfully Aldi and Lidl opened not long after we returned and we could get our favourites. Our children were both born in Germany and spent most of their childhood following German traditions and foods. They still search out these products. 👍

Lovely video. I watched a movie on Tubi that reminded me of both of you. The title is- Christmas Tree-tradition and history. It shows the history of German and regional Christmas traditions. The ornaments are so beautiful like yours. It was amazing the craft, talent, and deep history. You should watch it with a cup of hot chocolate and a dessert.😁🎄

It's an incredible place with spectacular scenery and history. Did you visit the Castle and the Georgian theatre, the oldest in the country. What a stunning place-I can see me making a trip to Richmond in the near future. Here in Wales in the Snowdonia National Park we have had alot of snow but it is milder again now.

Your videos are always so lovely, I definitely feel more festive after watching this! The locations are beautiful, food and treats look amazing, just wonderful. I grew up in the midwestern U.S. (where a lot of us have German ancestry) and often had stollen around Christmastime. I now live in Canada but found an incredible German bakery where I can get a very, very good traditional stollen, it's my favorite treat at Christmas! I hope you both have a very happy Christmas.

...just a tip: if you don't like alcoholic beverages, try mulled apple cider instead. There are so many simple recipes and the added sweetness makes all the Christmassy baked goodies taste even better!
