@mikemattis1204 that doesn't do anything at all when the school has high academic standards and can't recruit at an elite level. Since recruiting started being tracked in 2000, Notre Dame has only had a total of 17 five-star players.
Sherrone Moore is the right coach for my Wolverines. There’s a reason none of our main players went into the portal. They love playing for Moore and I believe he’ll be great at recruiting.
Short term win for Michigan, but it's a gamble, especially if they just hand Moore the job without a legitimate search. He's the sacrificial lamb if they get the suspected NCAA sanctions.
If Sherrone Moore is so great, why didn't he get an HC job after the regular season? Name a Top 25 program that would replace their HC with Moore. Just saying.

As a Buckeye fan, pursuing Brian Kelly would be by far the stupidest thing they could do. They could very easily do a Ryan Day like transition with Sherron Moore. Retain the majority of the staff, and keep going. With the looming investigation, there’s no way Brian Kelly would even hitch his wagon onto that. Not when he’s already at LSU

As a Buckeye fan, you bringing up the "looming investigation" is predictable. The person who would face any penalties is gone. Connor Stalions broke a minor rule and the most of what will come is a show cause for Harbaugh, who is now chilling in LA.

Michigan has a long institutional memory and the Rich Rod fiasco will keep Michigan from straying to far outside the Michigan tree. When you swing big you can also strike out a lot. RR was the hot hire and it was a disaster that took years to recover from

Colin some of the things you mention are worth being against when it comes to government and what is being perpetrated in the popular media. Any level of serious research will reveal this, some great harm has been done. To be of a certain age as you are and to be critical of people for not being monolithic on everything is strange for a man of your intellect.
All of this being said, being anti Harbaugh based on what he is done is stupid. The Chargers made a great hire. I am here in El Segundo and everyone is excited. The Chargers are going to be a must see for the next 5 years.

Colin, take it easy! It's too early to label Jim as an all-time great coach. He's certainly talented and may be on the path to greatness, but it's too early for such high praise or comparisons to Bill Belichick's departure. He's not irreplaceable.
