  • Hi everyone, welcome to my channel where I review the latest and greatest tech products. Today I'm going to take a look at the new Amazon Fire TV 43-inch Omni QLED series 4K UHD smart TV, which is one of the most affordable QLED TVs on the market right now. Let's see what it has to offer.
The Fire TV Omni QLED series is Amazon's flagship TV line, featuring a stunning 4K quantum dot display that makes colors pop and delivers excellent contrast and brightness. It also supports advanced HDR formats like Dolby Vision IQ and HDR10+ Adaptive, which automatically adjust the picture quality based on the content and the ambient light in your room. The TV also has a built-in sensor that can detect your presence and turn on the Fire TV Ambient Experience, which transforms your screen into a canvas for displaying over a thousand pieces of free artwork, personal photos, helpful Alexa widgets and more.
The Fire TV Omni QLED series also comes with hands-free Alexa built-in, which means you can control your TV and smart home devices with just your voice. You can ask Alexa to play your favorite shows, switch inputs, adjust the volume, check the weather, and even make video calls with compatible webcams. You can also access thousands of apps and streaming services like Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video, TH-cam and more with the Fire TV interface.
The design of the Fire TV Omni QLED series is sleek and simple, with a thin gunmetal gray bezel and two V-shaped metal legs. The TV has four HDMI ports, one of which supports eARC for connecting soundbars or receivers. It also has a USB port, an optical audio output, an Ethernet port, and an antenna input. The remote control is the same as the one that comes with other Fire TV devices, with dedicated buttons for Alexa, Prime Video, Netflix and Disney+. You can also upgrade to the Alexa Voice Remote Pro for more features like motion control and device finder.
The performance of the Fire TV Omni QLED series is impressive for its price range. The 4K QLED panel produces vibrant and accurate colors, with a peak brightness of 474 nits and a contrast ratio of 118,500:1 according to PCMag's tests¹. The HDR performance is also very good, with Dolby Vision IQ and HDR10+ Adaptive enhancing the details and colors in dark and bright scenes. The motion handling is decent for a 60Hz TV, with minimal blur or judder. The input lag is low at 3.2ms in game mode¹, making it suitable for casual gaming.
The sound quality of the Fire TV Omni QLED series is average for a thin TV. The speakers are loud enough for small to medium rooms, but they lack bass and clarity. You might want to invest in a soundbar or a speaker system for a better audio experience.
The Fire TV Omni QLED series is a great choice for anyone looking for a budget-friendly QLED TV with smart features and voice control. It offers excellent picture quality, HDR support, hands-free Alexa, and a wide range of apps and services. It's not perfect though; it could be brighter, have more local dimming zones, support higher refresh rates and VRR for gaming, and have better sound quality. But for its price point, it's hard to beat.
That's it for my review of the Fire TV Omni QLED series 4K UHD smart TV. If you liked this video, please give it a thumbs up and subscribe to my channel for more tech reviews. Thanks for watching and I'll see you next time.

It’s basically a TCL tv which isn’t a bad thing. Would I buy it? Maybe.

Do you think an old standard DVD player would be okay on this? I've heard that on some 4K TVs , the old stuff looks even worse than on a standard high-definition tv

Tried it on my bluray player, and it looked good. As I didn't have a dvd player anymore, the oldest thing I could use was my old ps3, which I dusted out and tried, and the picture quality was still ok. All these were tested via hdmi, not AV connection. Hope that helps

interesting that EU gets an AV phono type cable and North American sets don't. Sucks if you have some legacy console or VCR that you want to plug in.. We need to buy sketchy converters to make these old fashion devices work

Didn't realise North American version didn't have AV port, good our version has it as I still do us my legacy consoles

How is the TV holding up? Also what game is that?

TV has been great so far. It hasn't slowed down, plus getting used to using less of the remote and using it via voice commands 👍. Forza Horizon 5 is the game I'm playing on the video . Make sure you subscribe 😀

How do games run on it?

    • @Tech_Time_with_Rick
      @Tech_Time_with_Rick  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

Games run perfectly fine, with great colour reproduction in my opinion. But you have to remember the panel is only 60hz so you won't see the benefits of the 120hz capabilities of the Xbox series X or PS5. Hope that helps and don't forget to subscribe to help the channel 😁👍

This television has issues. I had to return it three times and it still does not work. Buyer beware, there's a reason they're trying to get rid of this television

That's very unsual and unlucky that you had 3 duds delivered to you, hence I wasn't happy that this only has a years guarantee. Although so far had no issues with mine. What were the issues you were having?
