Hi Ant, what a beautiful canal walk. I spent alot of time as a child in the Ranby & Barnby Moor area because the East coast main line runs through there & i use to go to level crossings & watch the trains. Interestingly i live in a small village outside Rotherham & we have a miie post for Barnby Moor on the main Road( Bawtry) road. ❤😊
@@TrekkingExploration I put my mountain bike in the back of my car and went there on Wednesday and had a pedal from Bridge 53 to Ranby and back in the 30 degree sunshine. Thank you for inspiring me to go back
Great Video, we did about a third of the walk today but have been talking about going all the way to Retford on another day. Just out of curiosity how long did it take you in the end to go from Worksop to Retford? And any ideas how far it is? We’ve gauged it at roughly 8 and a bit miles?
Enjoyed that walk and love the plughole story!
Nicely done, Always saw this at Worksop i wanted to have a trek down

Heya thanks for watching. I think from memory it was 2 to 3 hours, I do intend to do it again better eventually. I think around 8 miles is about right
