We put a 10hp, 14ft Avon inflatable boat in the river idle at Bawtry. We went down stream to west Stockworth where the idle meets the Trent, we pulled the boat out and carried it 200m to the Chesterfield canal Quay. We put the boat on the canal and headed towards Retford We camped out in a field then the next day we set off again When Chesterfield canal goes through Kings Park in Retford it crosses over the river idle on an aqueduct bridge We dropped the boat down the bank Got back on the idle and headed down stream until we got back to bawtry It was great
A nother great vlog Ant, I really think there should be some moorings and a Station at Welham Road so that people didn't have to drive into Retford to get a train

It is very true about the moorings, they are very few and far between
