MORE STRICT & COSTLY TRAVEL RESTRICTIONS IN CANADA: Pay $2000 for newest mandatory hotel quarantine

- Government of Canada announced the NEWEST and MORE STRICT travel restrictions for all INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS, WORKERS, ESSENTIAL TRAVELLERS and RETURNEES that may cost more than $2000.
We are still in the same pan/demic season and Canada is more strict as they mandated their newest protocols when you arrived in Canada. In this video, you will know the TRAVEL RESTRICTIONS that Canada is imposing to all travellers.
Prepare yourself especially your pockets as you may spend more money once you landed to Canada. I also show a SUCCESSFUL QUARANTINE PLAN that you may use when entering to the boarder or immigration of Canada.

Wow its a rip off really. Alot of people are mad at Trudeau because of his handling of this pandemic. I’m now a bit hesitant on whether I should enroll for the September intake. 2000$ is alot. And I was planning of saving 2000-3000$ as pocket money. It’s really terrible at this point.

The hotel booking process is suck. I called the hot line for 9+ hour on 2/22. Finally I reach out to one of their agent for the booking. I told her my flight will be arrived on Feb 24th and I confirmed with her that the 3 nights in the hotel will be from 24th to 26th. Soon after I hand up and I received a email confirmation saying that the hotel room will start from 05 Mar to 08 Mar. I don't understand how the agent can mess up such a simple task with multiple time of confirmation and all the other clear-to-understanding info. Since the hot line is the only one way to book the hotel or change the reservation, I will have to call again and try to change the reservation. God knows what will be the next time I am able to reach out to a agent

Thanks for watching and for the comment. As of now, Government of Canada hasn't provided the list of approved hotels yet. With regard to the DLIs provided accommodation, ask them if those are also approved by the government just to be sure.

Hi, this is just to clarify, is it 3mandatory +11 more days to complete 14days?or 3+14days? I booked all 14days actually from a gov’t approved hotel😀to avoid transferring after 3days😀
Thanks for watching and for the comment. 3 days quarantine in the approved hotel. After receiving your negative result, you can continue the 11 days of your mandatory quarantine in your home.
But since you already booked for your whole 14 days quarantine in the approved hotel, that is also fine.
Really an additional money to spend in a hotel. As a Filipino that a lot of money for a hotel.

3 days at a Government approved hotel and then the rest 11 days at your own preferred hotel. Together it makes 14 days.

@@ianbjs Thanks for watching and for the comment. I think, when you call the mentioned contact number, they will book you for initial 3 days as mandated. But if you want to continue the rest of the 14 days quarantine, you can contact the hotel to book for the rest of the stay.

Me and my husband is planning to travel to Canada under tourist visa, but still waiting for the visa approval.
Reason to visit is because my father in law is in hospital for almost 2 months ( cause cardiac arrest)
