Hi i tried booking at Sheraton Toronto Airort Hotel, I’m looking for their GAA rate but as you booked with 3 nights stay, the code automatically goes as CGV. the inclusions weren’t shown, but it was a pre pay stay too. I’m worried if i booked with them without the 3 meals and airport shuttle. Can you help me check please? They’re kinda have a very low rates for that.

The government assigned 3-day hotel quarantine costs travelers $2K CA. There's a $800 fine if one refuses to stay in this hotel. It's better to pay the fine and save $1200. The irony is that a negative test result makes no difference. Healthy people must still quarantine. So, it's better to avoid travelling to Canada unless it's absolutely necessary. The Canadian government doesn't know its science. Fire Tam!
If I had to pay the $2K, I'd rather stay in the Hilton than the Radisson. But I'm staying in Portugal until this mess clears. Canadians can stay here until December 31st regardless of the visitor status of 90 days. When I arrived in Portugal in mid-September, all I had to do to clear immigration was present my negative med test result. There was no quarantine in any hotel before continuing on, and there still isn't. And there were only 2 months of lockdown for non-essential services in February and March. There wouldn't have been any need to lockdown at all if people from other EU countries weren't allowed to enter without any tests being done.

Hi Jayson thank you for this very informative video, I just seen some international news regarding this mandatory hotel quarantine for new air travellers that will arrive to canada ,they had bad experiences and complaints with some other hotels that they dont receive enough food for a day, i hope when we go their soon we will not experience those things.

A short question :) on Form 1294e there is an option that says Funds available for my stay.
This amount refers to the total money that I have saved and show?

It’s ridiculous, people have to dig in their pockets to pay 2k$, why can’t Gov just use taxes to pay for people going there. Staying at hotel doesn’t help. It’s gonna spread more in the hotels. I’m Canadian and so ashamed of my country doing this to people.
