And finally, another super-duper plan went out to be a great success of taking the early morning departure of 05:00Am from KSR Bengaluru, 06243 KSR Bengaluru - Hosapete Jn INTERCITY Express train much awaited end to end ride behind a single headed SWR based ALCo in SHF Mode, KJM WDM 3A #16585 😍 And indeed, a memorable trip to Vijayanagar District side (Karnataka State - SWR Hubballi Division).
PART-5a: Enjoy the video clip of the mighty single headed ALCo's furious acceleration, notching from the main/branch line in almost every stations in between, furious smoking and chugging, dynamic braking, air pressure build-up and twin toned Old School ALCo (LHF) honking sounds (can be clearly heard from Kyatasandra).
Stations Covered: Yesvantpur Jn, Chikkabanavara Jn, Dodbele, Kyatasandra, Tumakuru, Gubbi, Ammasandra, Tiptur, Honnavalli Road (Unscheduled Halt) and Arsikere Jn (PART 5a). This will continue till Hosapete Junction in the remaining parts.
Big thanks railfans for the timely update regarding the loco link and I purposely wanted to board from KSR Bengaluru itself to take a look at Chikjajur Jn - Ballari Jn section in between and sorry for the wind noise in between, which is unavoidable :)

In only some long journeys, I could enjoy diesel Sound and Honking. Like my Journeys in Hisar Coimbatore SF which was hailed by WDP4 from Hisar to Coimbatore. That infect went from Diverted Route from Vasai Road thru Pune,Solapur Route instead of Konkan Route. My Coach was H1 which was near the Loco after PWR coach. The sound and power was amazing ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Like Shanghai in the 1990s. So much nostalgia from this video. These locomotives' livery colors also look like the old Shanghai metro buses and sound like them too.

Very interesting trip. Do you know what's wrong with that ALCo? At least when it accelerates at full throttle it makes an unusual noise for an ALCo. Like a hum of bad gears...
Thanks. Yeah, it's a Turbo sound that makes a huge noise when it is in the Top Notch. Currently, these Alcos are not in mainline duties anymore. EMDs are in charge which is faster than the ALCo's
