This video just humbled me in the best way possible

I watched this entire thing. Proof:
    1. using a wire wheel for its intended purpose, wow!
    2. There are keyhole slots on the back of that power strip. You could have just attached it with 2 screws instead of all that other junk.
    3. Just use a washer.
    4. You are supposed to glue dowels in, not screw them.
    5. I don't even know what to... A needle-nose clothes-pin?
    6. Anything with 2 holes can be a makeshift compass. You didn't figure this out until you were 30?
    7. Don't install sharp blades onto your tool handles. Do I need to explain why?
    8. Cutting a caulk tip at an angle then holding it at an angle will make a flatter bead? Is this the first time you've ever held a caulk gun?
    9. Wetting the surface/your finger before running you finger over a caulk bead creates less of a mess... again, first time?
    10. Skipping the rest of the "caulk tips" because they're more of the same bad ideas or things that should be fairly common sense.
    11. Not sure what you accomplished with the plastic bottle/drill trick. Did you need to collect only a third of the dust for something? If you were trying to not make a mess, hold a shop-vac hose under the drill bit.
    12. I seriously have no idea why you destroyed that saw blade just to cut a dowel.
    13. The money wasted in cable and connectors, you could have bought a legit tool holder from Amazon or Harbor Freight.
    14. Wrap hot-glue sticks around your drapes in front of a sunny window... Genius... I'm sure nothing could go wrong.
    15. Earlier you were cutting sandpaper, now you're trying to sharpen them with a safety pin. I feel bad for anyone that ever lets you borrow scissors. I almost didn't notice the pair you used to prove "how sharp" you got them had a different color handle and length than the ones you supposedly sharpened.
    16. The masking tape glue thing... Again, I have no idea what the purpose of that was. To prove that masking tape works for its intended purpose?
    17. Using a drill as a rotozip. This will work, but it's painfully slow and difficult to control (the footage was sped up). Just use a drywall/keyhole saw.
    18. If you look to the right of that faucet, I'd be willing to bet that there's a separate sprayer nozzle already installed.
    19. Nailing the middle of a chain down. Again, no idea what purpose that serves. If you put enough tension on that chain to justify needing a chain, those nails won't hold it and someone will likely get hurt.
    20. Again, why?
    21. You didn't drive the second nail in as far as the first, the glue did nothing. Don't beat on the wood with a hammer if you don't want to mar it. Use a nail-set if you want to countersink a nail.
    22. Holy... NEVER let this person use your scissors OR your kitchen knives.
    23. Use acrylic sealant to replace a toilet seat bumper? I hope nobody has to use the toilet while you wait the 3 days it's going to take that massive gob to dry.
    24. Doorstops are a couple of dollars. Please don't tape a glue-filled plastic cap to your wall.
    25. Notice he can't close those pliers after he "modified" them. Also, never drill toward your own hand.
    26. The pipe-tape trick can actually be useful in tight spaces, not sure why he's putting it around a bolt though... and wrapping it completely wrong...
    27. Why would you ever need to screw braided electrical wire to a block of wood like that?
    28. Please use proper clamps or collets when making loops in steel cable. You could literally be arrested for doing what he just did in some cases.
    29. The aluminum pop-rivet sleeve used as a electrical crimp connector isn't the worst idea in this video so far, but now you have a massive exposed contact on the side of that block.
    30. Tightly wrap any fairly wide non-flexible tape or ribbon around a cylinder and you will get a straight line. Just scribe that. Look up "Jackson Safety Pipe Measure Tool - Wrap Around Tape" if you want the actual tool made to do just that.
    31. Don't put anything except water in your toilet tank. Ever... Unless you don't mind replacing or repairing your toilet frequently.
    32. At first I thought you mangled that crappy fork in order to make an even crappier fork. Nope, you want to show people how to scrape plastic chunks from their paint bucket and mix it into their paint.
    33. Notice the finger-lines in the shaving cream change completely during the "wait one hour" edit. What they didn't mention was during that hour, turn the camera off, rinse the shaving cream, then use an orbital sander on the pan (as witnessed by the swirl marks when they rinse it on camera) then cover it in shaving cream and plastic wrap again, then turn the camera back on.
    34. STOP RUINING CUTTING TOOLS!
    35. Your phillips bit mangled that hardened steel screw, but you're supposed to believe that hot-glue is much stronger than steel... Upon second viewing of this clip, try actually pushing the bit into the screw head. Using a #2 bit instead of a #1 bit on a #2 screw would help as well.
    36. More goofy clothespin tricks. Lets see how many more "Attach a clothespin to ***** and then you can clip it to stuff" tips there are.
    37. Back to caulk tips now? That looks like sh** by the way.
    38. Again, DO NOT ADD STUFF TO THE WATER IN YOUR TOILET TANK!
    39. Please use the correct clamps and collets when working with aircraft cable. ALWAYS.
    40. I have no idea what the point of that paper-clip/clothes-pin/scrap-drywall thing was, but it looked like a lot of work for nothing.
    41. Here we go ruining more scissors with sandpaper.
    42. The magic of shaving cream again... Notice the glasses were already clean.
    43. I am so confused. Is that to keep aliens or the CIA from being able to read your feet? What was the point of that? Seriously...
    44. Or just use the knife to strip the wire... or get some wire strippers for a few dollars at HF
    45. Okay, I have done this same thing. Not for storage, that's dumb. Using a large needle with construction adhesive in it I was able to do a non-destructive repair on some loose hardwood flooring.
    46. Notice the pliers starting to fall out. Anytime these people do something with a plastic bottle, you know it's about to get really dumb.
    47. Jesus... steel wool is so cheap... And you can actually scrub things bare-handed with steel wool without needing a tetanus shot and a box of band-aids afterward. Also going to mention that trowel looks no different than when you started.
    48. That will last about 30 seconds as a drywall rasp. Either get a real rasp, or use your utility knife in a pinch. You will wear out the knife blade pretty quick too, but those are easier to change than spending 5 minutes making another one of those goofy can things.
    49. This is the closest I think any of these "hacks and tips" guys ever got to understanding how to use a pop-rivet. I'm actually amazed they got this close... still wrong, but close. By the way, you can (in a pinch) take the pin out of the sleeve, and drive the ball end in backwards with a hammer, then just twist to snap the stem off of the ball.
    50. You'll need something stronger than popsicle sticks if you don't want any paste squeezing past. Just use the edge of the counter-top and your palm instead of this flimsy BS.
    51. I guess it works, but everyone should have a step-stool or ladder. In fact, if you're at the store, and you only have enough money for one, buy the stool or ladder BEFORE buying the hot-glue gun. Contrary to these videos, the ladder will be infinitely more useful around the house.
    52. "Take that thing that's supposed to press against your face, and put razor-blades in it... LIFE-HACK!" ... Not sure why the knife that he took that blade out of wouldn't work as a knife.
    53. Mentioned this one earlier, and yes, this works at the expense of a zip-tie. decent tip.
    54. Did he just pound wooden dowels into the holes left by thumbtacks?
    55. ummmmmm.... you could have done just as much by blowing on it.
    56. So I praise one tip at #53 up there, and then they drop back down to absolutely useless and insane by #56
    57. WHAT? Not a Clothespin?
    58. Ah yes... this is how I expect these videos to use pop-rivets.
    59. Hot-snotting a level-bubble to a drill I get, but I'm lost with the punctured bottle cap glued to the wall being violated with a plastic bag.
    60. And we end with more useless insanity. Bravo.

I made it halfway through before I started reading the comments, thinking - hoping - I would find something like yours. I wanted to yell “THAT IS BULLSHIT!!” upon seeing almost all of these ideas, especially the filled-bottle-cap-door-bumper. The vast majority are Third-World solutions to non-existent problems. The door-hinge compass? Seriously? Not only did you obviously subject yourself to the entire vid, you took the time to analyze every hack, or whatever these are. And, you saved me from watching half the vid. Now all I need to do is downvote the vid.

I can personally guarantee you that any "Life-Hack" or "Handyman Tricks" video with this format of disembodied hands messing with plastic bottles, clothespins, and hot glue are going to be the same. Feel free to downvote immediately, and know that if you watch the full video, you will lose at least 2 IQ points.
I'm a glutton for punishment, I guess. I've seen dozens of these. My IQ is already double digits... in the negative...

Great. But also, 'hahaha'. The 2nd one, to my mind provided zero benefit over using the two slotted screw holes on the back of the socket that are designed too allow it to be mounted by 2 screws onto a piece of wood or any other surface that a screw can be inserted into.

The part where he cuts the court and puts a nail through it to hold down I guess the rubber material Excel nails with insulated rubber on them for that use for corrugated plastic and they were you sold that for years so that ideals older than dirt and on the caulking gun supposed to cut a slant on the tip anyways information a straight line with a caulking gun they already make tools to make that and using a spoon is not a good idea for sealant bead take a plastic bag figuring it have a some of water next to you would you finger inside the plastic bag wrap plastic around now dip it in the water and go over that Beed works way better than that spoon
