4:45 🤩 Magic words: "Because I have a cage, I can attach the camera directly to the tripod without a plate." Sir, earlier this week I spent HOURS searching for a plate. Thanks to you, I now realize my camera cage IS an Arca-type mount plate. Your design is great, thank you.
This is PERFECT for most of the content creators out here. Sure, there are many on TH-cam that look pretty cool, but for most people, it is overkill. This is a great studio rig: portable, sturdy, easy. Great video!
Glad you like it! You are perfectly right! For many creators is overkill. Clearly, we can make great content just with a phone. But this rig I want to be an inspiration for those who want to shoot easier, and more comfortably. And I really think it is as you said: portable, sturdy, and easy to use :) Thank you, my friend 🙋🏻♂️🤗
Thank you, my friend! I did exactly the same. This rig is the result of a lot of variations and struggle :) This is why I want to share it with you because I find something that works great :) Glad you like it :)
@@GabrielVIP currently my magic arms are holding my aperture MC's above my daughters beds as night lights 😅 My brother has "borrowed" my f3 to record his DJ sets, and I'm debating rebuying everything again so I can actually get something productive done sometime soon 😅😅 When it was setup, I used a desk mounted camera stand, and fitted the monitor on the top handle and the zoom on a side mounting point on the camera cage. I also discovered that the zve10 doesn't loose charge when powerd over USB if you connect it to a powerd USB hub ( I use the one for my steamdeck ). But it does loose power slowly if you just connect the USB straight to the computer USB port or use the provided power adapter.
@SystemParanoia Good usage for magic arms :) Your daughters are lucky to have such professional lights above the bed 😁 I know how it is to “borrow” equipment for unlimited time and buy it again 😁 The power will drop if the USB port is not that powerful. That hub probably is strong :) I am sure that you will build the setup again and work with it 😁
Thank you! The Zoom F3 is perfect because it's working perfectly in any situation :) Small, and easy to attach to any setup… it is worth the investment:)
Awesome video! Just ordered some of the equipment to United Kingdom to add to my equipment. i don't have the strength for zoom and monitor for now. I hope i will be able to get the set up
Hey! Glad you like it, my friend, and congratulations on your new equipment :) No worries, you can upgrade to Zoom and monitor in the future :) The most important thing is to start and create :) Thank you and good luck with your content :)
Hey! Glad you like it! I use a monitor because the camera screen is small. And if I use a teleprompter, that will also cover the screen. Plus, I want to see better and be 100% sure that I have a great frame :)
hey! Thank you! I never did that but you will lose the 32-bit float because wireless mics are not 32-bit float. So… the sound received wirelessly in the F3 will not be 32-bit.
Hey! Yes, but it depends on the headphones. If you have high-impedance headphones, like 250 ohms, it can be hard to obtain a high volume. But normal headphones are okay.
🙋🏼♂️ Hola Gabriel! En caso de no grabar mi fondo si no una imagen que guardo en mi pc, me recomiendas la lente Sigma 16mm 1.4? O puedo usar la del pack de la ZVe-10? Gracias por tu atención 🤗🤗👋👋
Hey! Do you use a green screen? If you have good lights you cause the kit. The best way is to take a test and see if the result looks good. The light it's super important :)
Awesome video Brother. I have the same tripod. How can we shoot a top down video using this rig? Like a hobby or a scale model building video. Thanks for your great content.
Hey! For a top-down, you need a C-Stand. That will be the best solution. Use a C-Stand and attach all these to that one. It's the most stable, tall, and practical for that application.
Hey! For hardware, I recommend this rig. If you don’t want something that complex you can use just the camera and the lens for the beginning. As for editing software, I always recommend DaVinci Resolve. And for screen recording, I use Quick Time for MAC or OBS for windows :)
Hey! I didn't try that. With some adaptor, maybe, but I don't see the point. Connect the mic directly to the phone. Or record internally in you DJI mic 2.
Great setup. The dummy battery link you sent doesn't confirm in the description its for the sony zv e10. Just wanna confirm the one in the link will work with the zv e10. 🙏
Hey! So you want to shoot a podcast with two people and use one single camera, yes? To fit two people in the shot you need a wide-angle lens if you don’t have a big space. The Sigma 16 it’s great for this. And if you want a camera with a big battery I suggest the ZV-E10 MK-II. You can also do it with the MK-II but use a dummy battery to avoid overheating.
Hey, quick question. Can I just use the usb C to usb c connection for powering the camera? I returned the e-10 I for the e-10 II. I understood the dummy battery for this rig would not work with the new camera. So instead of buying another dummy battery. Curious about the usb c 🤔 any help would be greatly appreciated 🙏
Hey! No! You can’t power the camera just with the USB C. You can charge it while recording but that will drive you to overheating. If you want to record limitless you need a dummy battery that works with the MK.II
Hey! I never recorded that long to see how long it lasts because the SD will get full first :)) But it also depends on how big the NPF is. On a big 970, you have at least 2-3 hours. I have a new Smallrig NPF with a display and after I recorded for 40 minutes the battery was 75% so... I don't think you will have problems.
