I had a black 1966 Toronado back in the early 80's. I bought the car at an Oldsmobile dealership for $600. It was in good running condition too. I miss that car, I had to sell it before I moved overseas. It's amazing how much these cars are worth these days. The one you guys have looks like it was very well taken care of. All the best, and thanks for sharing.
Wow, Wow, Wow....Did I say WOw? Very very nice. One of the few 60's cars I never owned. I have a opportunity to get one now here in Florida, 1966 Trofeo, $2500, but it has no Title and cant register or get a title in Florida without one from seller. Tearfull.
Hi Gary, Great to see you have a youtube channel. Love the full size cars getting some besides the normal mid-size musclecars . Really like the Toranados. Jim E. from Michigan
Not only the Head Rests, but it looks like there are Side Marker Lights, not used to seeing those on cars until the ‘68 model year.
That steering column not only tilts, but telescopes as well......a first in '66....& available thru the early 70s.
what a great car!

I wish I had mine back. You forgot to mention the door handle for the back seat passengers.
A great detail and I think it may have been edited out for time, but glad you mentioned it.
Stunning survivor. Love the design. Still looks like a concept car and very futuristic ❤
BREATHTAKING I wish I had one

Had a 69 toranado with the 455 ho bblock. It was a huge comfortable jet.
That is one beautiful classic.

1966-70 are, in my opinion, the best run of luxury vehicles ever designed by GM.

the 66 toronado has telescoping steering wheel......turn the center ring..the wheel comes towards you...
Stunning debut! Too bad it got progressively worse each year after that.
