I put a Thrush muffler on and took resonators off, long tube headers and cold air intake.. I'm putting a supercharger on in September, can't wait.. LOVE my loud and sleeper Ram.. SO many guys are surprised after the fact 😁
Put a cold air intake on it and it'll sound deeper and more aggressive. The drone will be a little noticeable but on the hwy it'll die down and not be noticeable
it's big money (not when compared to an exhaust or wheels and tires!) but the new diablosport pulsar looks nice for killing eco mode + adding a few HP on 91/93
I have the same set up nice by far. I drove around with the duel resonators and the drone on the trucks was horrible. Once I took the resonators off it was a difference from night to day. Nice video!

We drove from Houston to Florida with resonators on and I tell you that was the worst 16 hour drive I took, the sound was unbearable. Took resonators off did the same drive back and it was night and day. The sound was good not too loud only on start up and and traveling at 90mph. Other then then that not too bad

Had flowmaster muffler on my 2005 Dakota and lived in Seattle area. It didnt last. I ended up changing whole system to a Gibsen cat back system about 9 years ago. Still got that system on the Dakota
I have a Flowmaster Super 10 on my 2004 Ram with the Hemi. It's been on the truck for the last 10 years of the 12 years I've owed the truck. The same muffler, the exhaust pipes have repair and replaced a few time but the same muffler everytime. The sound produced by the Super is not for everyone, but I love it. The deep raspy nasty sound just puts a smile on face. Not too sure where people get this drone issue from? No resonators, silencers bullshit. It's raw plug your ears and cry about it if you don't like it. I love it and that's all that matters.
Bro I've also got a 04 ram with the 5.7 and I got the super 10 put on today and I'm gonna be honest mine is not loud. Any idea why ? I have new pipes with 3 inch tips. I'm thinking about replacing the tips but not sure if that'll do much ?
@@billknight5578 the resonaters came off with the old muffler pipes, not sure what you mean by silencers. Could you tell me where that is and I'll check tomorrow?
@@billknight5578 ok I think your talking about the resonaters, that's what I call em anyway and yea that came off with the old pipe I got everything from the muffler back brand new. Idk why it's just not loud. It sounded amazing with just the muffler but that's illegal where I live 😅
@@derrickhornsby139 weird, mine was crazy loud once the resonators were taken off. At 4000 rpm it gives a reading of 150 decibels. I was told that I could be heard up to a mile away a wot? Normal driving it's not that loud, around 80 to 95 decibels in the cab while cruising at 55 mph.
Flowmaster are one of the cheapest made mufflers on the market. Buy a Carven or Aero Exhaust if you want a great sounding long lasting better quality muffler.

For anyone struggling with the drones after installing aftermarket mufflers, I confirm that this is legit --- resonator delete is the way to go. I just had the two resonators cut out today and the drone is gone. Tested on local and hwy, no drone at all. The exhaust sound just became slightly louder and shifted to the back. The fuel economy improved as well: 11-12L/100km to maintain speed of 115kmh in the past now only 9L/100Km. Thank you @CamwiththeRAM for providing the solution!
So my exhaust set ups have been muffler delete then I did a 3 inch glass pack basically resonator then I cut that off did the super tan can I cut my secondary resonators out then I cut the super tent off and now I’m full straight pipe

Yeah all I do is tow haul on and mds gone ..or I just shift manually every time .. Uh bless I feel lazt or long trips then iTs mds for me...otherwise doesn't mess with transmission and or fuel milage, or u can just leave it and listen to the drop in monotone from the shift from 6th gear at 30 Mike's a hour....I hate mds ... Just by pass it

I have a super 10 on.my classic Express it's loud and I love it give it some time to break in it will get louder

Ran the outlaw direct fit for a year, terrible drone. Put a super 10 and upgraded the pipes from 2.25" to 2.50".

10is smaller and more throaty raspy sound 44 is huge and sounded to close to stock
