I gotta say after watching your channel for a very long time, I think you're overly scared of throwing anything above the middle third of the strike zone. Granted I only play on 80 ego, but from SMB3 to SMB4 they made it viable to use the whole zone as long as you're hitting your spots and mixing pitches and locations effectively.
Try setting up the pitches leading up to a high fastball inside, I also play 80 ego, so I cannot comment on anything higher than that. It seems to work decently, just have to use it in certain situations
