Actually the owner said the right thing "Sedan is a proper car". In India people are not much confident in buying Sedan because of bloody road conditions. I am always been a fan of Sedan and will stick to it.
I live in up and i drive Skoda rapid since 8yrs and trust me in UP roads are Excellent in most parts and all places mainly connected by 4/6 lane highways.sedan r best
I dont get this reasoning nowadays. 10 years back when india actually had bad roads, people driving sedans were fine. But now when u have mostly good roads and world class highways everybody suddenly just wants a raised hatchback.
M proud of the owner he bought this car. I don't know wt other people think of the car as different people have different views but according to me it's a good car.. saim proud of u bro, give respect to the car and the car will respect you always.. I always liked sedan it gives u a very great feeling while driving when u getting such a wonderful engine and it's manual. The owner is so learned and informed, he's a true auto enthusiast people are blindly running towards so called "Compact SUVs" , being fooled by the car makers I very much agree with him One of the best ownership review, very much impressed to meet with Sam :)
Nothing like that - owner just hasn't done proper research. Think new XUV300 that is going to launch with 130 PS/230 NM engine - it will be faster than this Virtus by what I am hearing. Or think Ford Ecosport TDCI (of course not available now), Bolero Neo 10 Optional with real differential for places where Virtus would probably not last much longer, Nexon Diesel for power, safety, and water wading capability.....So just that he thinks SUVs as Dabba, does not automatically mean dabba in actuality 😂😂 And by the way, he says 16 Lacs for this Virtus...in that you get better SUVs above compact ones. No doubt Virtus is a good car but just that he says that SUVs are dabbas for him (or you for that matter who judges him as an expert based on a baseless comment), doesn't automatically make him learned and informed about cars. It needs much work and sincere interest in all car segments.
People are not running blindly. They have their reasons. Sedans aren't just suitable for Indian road conditions. Stop glorifying foolish statements by anyone on youtube.
@@mannsinghs not SUVs he said "Compact SUV", a car having a length of just 3995mm and raising ground clearance to 200mm can't become an SUV,they are just overgrown Hatchbacks You can't join 2 buses and call it a "COMPACT TRAIN", every vehicle has it's own character and purpose in it's original form- and that can't be spoiled by just putting "COMPACT"..."MINI"..."MICRO" etc :)

And Virtus/Slavia is now rated 5 stars( in Both adult passenger and child safety )in latest and more stricter GNCAP ratings ! Only car in India after VW Taigun and Skoda Kushaq ! Out of so many cars being produced in India, VW/Skoda occupying the Top 4 positions ! Incredible Safety and Built Performance ! Tata & Mahindra also doing good ! These brands should get max love and sales !
Everyones car buying choices is subjective to there needs and looks are subjective big car will have advantages as luxury and space small cars as hatchback will have their like parking space and milage ..so it always worth taking a test drive ..
I really don't understand why VW has not provided a manual version of the 1.5 L turbo. The DCT in India is not reliable and many people avoid the DCT. A CVT transmission is far more reliable.
As VW priority atmost safety to passenger, as I read from some sources VW intentionally provide drum brakes for rear because drum brakes are basically mechanical brakes always reliable failure chances is very less but disc brakes are Hydraulic one chance of failure so if front brakes fails, rear brakes will saves the lives....not for any cost cutting.. Thanks
No doubt as a sedan it has amazing ground clearance build is best everything is perfect except 2 thing 1. Resale value and demand is veey poor 2. High mainanance a part from that it is best
I share similar feeling. Totally irritated by so called suv in India. Everyone looking to buy suv, sedans seem to set you apart from the crowd. Still the owner should had gone for the gt version.

@@vinaykaushikinvisble i got a super heavy discount i purchased virtus 1.0 highline automatic..it has every feature available except sunroof and ventilated seats .. if any store has 2022 model available it should cost you around 16 lakhs including highest insurance (zero debt ,engine parts everything) and a 4 year service package which basically means zero charges for 4 years even on engine oil
@@vinaykaushikinvisble hello bhai my friend who had booked a grand vitara ,,came to congratulate me for my new car and he loved it so much that he cancelled his booking and purchased a topline Mt for 16 on road 2022 December model .. we got 14 lakhs quotation for highline Mt .. i think he could have further discounted 10k so that would be 13.90 lakhs ..and you are even getting the coating so i think that's a steal deal .. virtus is surely a head turner
@@srinathkaushik Hi Srinath, I live in the hills where it gives me a decent mileage of 12-13 In the city drive the average mileage is 14-16 And as low as 8 in bumper to bumper traffic The clutch is neither too light nor too hard, would say perfect for me
It's avetage is not more than 14.... Mine gave not more than 14.. Per car ka mukabla nahien hai.... I am satisfied to level of 85% ...just average is on lower side..
I bought the virtus on 23rd july, 3300 kms down, reported the problem of car pulling to the left side in first service. Since they vw and myself are trying to solve the problem that why the car is pulling to the left, we’ve now concluded that showroom’s both automatic and manual demo cars are pulling to the left on any road you give them. They we went on to drive the slavia and same. Slavia pulls to the left. When you go for demo check the car. You hold the steering and adjust it to the straight, 5-10 seconds later car will start pulling to left. Rather than this thing i would like to tell you guys. I waited for xuv 700 since 1st day of booking and delivery was due in october 2022, i bought it only because i was impressed with virtus, driving pleasure and ride quality❤️. But these problem is eating me up now
I can see this video is watched my many people .. So if anyone considering to buy virtus can easily consider the automatic beacuse it does let you drive according to your gear preference it has paddle shifters which are very easy to operate..you can up from right and down from left on your steering and that roowithout even switching to the manual mode... if anyone has any doubts about this car I'll be more than happy to clear those

Crossover is a design, older and less creative people don't understand it. so they don't like it. For example Ecosport was a global hit , people around the globe likes it.
Yaha banda lele vw ya skoda uske baad dusri car ko nicha he dikhata rehta hai, bhai not every compact suv is dabba and not every sedan is love, you might like.this car but not everyone, ye engines jo yaha pe bande itne excited hai leke 1 litre tsi ye waha ke lambe dabbe hai, proper sedan never have ground clearance of 180 mm, ye yaha ki.customised sedans hai, 3 4 saal baad koi puchega bhi nahi, skoda laura had 1.8 tsi almost 190 bhp a decade ago, jabardasti ki hype
@@sunysuny5075 they have a lot of features like cruise control, safety features. Nowadays safety is must. German brands introduced safety features in Indian automobile industry.only Indian brands that can bring this level of features are only Tata and Mahindra. This car scored 5 star in NCAP test.
I hate VW cars are so good but they break down frequently and on top of that VW service centre loot people too much. Any small problem will cost min. 15000 rs. Too much looting

Just check RTO tax structure in your state. Due to different tax structure , on road price is different in diff states
