    Sensational! What an awesome and glorious place Talbot Bay is! Nailed the music choice for your boat ride! Great to know your van is on the repair. Stay well!

    hey, hope your van is back on the road ASAP. Is transport damage i.e dust covered under insurance?
    Loved the falls I was there this time last year with the same crowd, what an experience.
    Highly recommended to anyone that makes it to Broome/Derby.

      Hi Mac H. Thanks for your comment and kind words. Unfortunately we couldn't claim any transport damage - but how nice that would have been to have it professionally cleaned while i sat back and sipped tea... bliss! The falls were such an amazing experience - it seems that no-one who goes there is ever disappointed! Well worth the cost. We cannot speak highly enough of it 👍

    Fantastic vid, glad you are still keeping the adventure going while the caravan is repaired 👍
    That bulldust off those roads is like talcum powder, if they had tarped it while on the trailer it may not have been so bad.
    A good spring clean for the van coming up. (that will be a video in itself) Take care, love your vids and your presentation, cheers.

      Hi Leanne - Glad you enjoyed it! I was hoping people would really get a feel for it. Everyone we have ever spoken to about the Horizontal Falls absolutely LOVED it. 😄

    Wow what an amazing video and so glad your van will be ok !!! How breathtaking is the Kimberley, all of it. I have never been able to find words to describe properly it’s diverse, remote, ancient beauty. It literally takes my breath away every time, and makes my heart so happy. Thanks so much for sharing this episode 😍

    Hi Jacki and Kerry love all your episodes but especially this one. Footage was awesome. Could you tell us how much the overnight tour of the horizontal falls cost please? Keep up the great work.

    Great episode. The scenery from the plane was absolutely amazing but I dont know if I could go in such a small aircraft. That would be so freaky going in a plane and landing on the water lol. So glad you filmed all that because its a place I dont think I would have the guts to visit. This experience definitely looked like value for money though. OMG that dust, I am with you, that would have driven me crazy haha. Good luck with the insurance company (is it NRMA ? ) Interested to know what editing program you use and where you get the music from as the whole video was mint.

      Thank you so much Only Leaving Footprints - and i really appreciate that 'dust empathy' 😂 It really was quite horrid. Glad you enjoyed the vid. I did think that the plane trip could be difficult for some - I, forunately, do not have a fear of flying. There are cruises that drop in there too but way more expensive 😏. Could be worth saving for though. I am now using Final Cut Pro to edit (steep learning curve) but started with imovie which has a lot going for it 🤙. I pay an annual subscription to Soundstripe for the music. They have been very helpful as i got started. And yes... good old NRMA... Have a lovely day ! 😄

    Very exciting and beautiful was it very expensive to do overnight trip?

    • @travelthecountry-aussieadv1730
      @travelthecountry-aussieadv1730  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Wayne - yes its exceptionally beautiful and so much fun. It was expensive - but it was the only really costly 'touristy' thing we did so we thought it was worth it. You would need to check their website for current pricing 👍😄

    If you want to go through the Horizontal Water Falls in the hispeed boat, you will need do it before 2028 .It would appear the Indigenous wins again , this place and many others locked due native title etc. These areas need to be free for ALL Australians to visit as long respect is shown. These lockouts are dividing the Australian population, not unifying 😢

    DONE & DUSTED - Finally we thought we could get to the falls. We read the wesbite and hidden away is the fact that the so called original owners of the land have now banned entry into the smaller second bay via the narrow and most exhilerating entry. We sent an email - and it was confirmed. Add this to ayrers rock. What's the point of going to a theme park and being told you can only look at the best ride.

      Hi @robbolton8871 sorry to hear you couldn't go through the second opening - thats so disappointing. I think the first opening would also be exhilarating when they go through at the right tide. When you see how dangerous the second opening is - its a wonder we were ever allowed to go through it. Keep enjoying what you can 😄
