This look exactly what we are planning next month but traveling west to east. Its given us some great knowledge for our planning. Those faces look familiar around Arrawarra :) Thanks heaps
Have really enjoyed watching your clips. I'm retiring back to Australia soon after living in the USA for the last 25 years, and I want to do one big lap round Australia before putting my feet up, including some of the classic tracks like the Gibb. Watching your own journey has not only been informative, but encouraging in terms of some of the places you've been to with your caravan. For myself I think I'll just convert an SUV with a set of drawers in the back and a tent on the roof, but I can also see the added comforts from your perspective of towing along a small home as well. I may compromise and take a camping trailer along instead. I have great memories of paddling along Katherine gorge in 1988 and spending the night with friends at one end and paddling back the next. Best of luck to you both.
Hi @timwilde4200, thank you so much for your comment. All the best for your retirement. It’s a great stage of life - and what a great plan to do a lap of Aus. Such a beautiful country! Whatever way you choose to do it - it will be amazing, and soul satisfying. Plan and enjoy 👍😃
Hi Dave, thx for your comments 🤙. We didn’t have a lot of trouble with dust. But we did notice dust inside along the edge of the windows towards the back - hence the taping. We did have covers for vents as well but didn’t always use them. We had a piece of foam we put between screen and door at the vent. I also had a plastic painters sheet I covered the bed with and shook out occasionally. I just wiped the tops down at the end of travel each day. I hate any dust but it actually wasn’t that bad. Our two rear windows were definitely our weak point.
GREAT THOSE PLACES WELL DONE
Thanks 👍
Fantastic you pair are having such a great time. Thanks for sharing and keep having fun. 😎👍
Thx so much Steve 🤙

Noice
The red dust must be in the hose to keep the gold coins flowing at the car wash…
Love it Damon. 😂.
