I thought that the destroyer was the easiest but i failed many times and i tried skeletron prime and won easily. I was playing melee only and was using shadowflame daggers.
Destroyer is considered the easiest mainly bc he can be cheesed easily, imo skeleton prime is a lot weaker, his fight is mainly a battle with time since his defense is so much better than the destroyers but his offense is weak
I've been stuck at the mech bosses stage for *days* playing mage. I even seeded Corruption into the world (which got wildly out of control) to get Cursed flames for damage. Mob farm built for Clinger Staff. The works. Definitely going to try Queen Slime again for armor before trying any more. My only piercing spell was Demon Scyth, so next upgrade is finding better of that. The meteor wasn't cutting it.
Did you beat the mech bosses yet? If not here’s a couple tips: - titanium or adamantite armor - crystal serpent is the best weapon and pretty easy to get (underground hallow fishing) - campfires and heart lanterns throughout arena - use asphalt if you’ve already beaten one mech boss before - use the magic power potion

Or any below ground hallowed water source? I've stacked up on campfires, lanterns and managed find a Bast statue. Got birthday cake. And have hex doll, cursed flame, golden shower, frost staff, Clinger Staff, life drain, crystal shard thingy. Blade staff summon, I have a few more jelly crystals to try for full set of QSlimes armor. I'm hoping it all work together to work. So far have died pretty badly on each. Can get them both to about half health so far. I'll check ingredients for magic power potion actually, I completely forgot about that.
The gear is only going to help you defeat them, you should Memorise the bosses Attacks and predict their path and next attack, relying on the gear is a newbie mistake

I got here because I'm tired of people saying "just dodge boss' attacks dude" like, sure, that worked Pre hard mode, but how the #&@$ am I supposed to dodge multiple light-speed lasers per second? Seriously hard mode bosses are total bs
mech bosses from easiest to hardest in my opinion 1.) skeletron prime is a joke, literally the same boss but with a lazer and a bomb that you can avoid by flying 2.) the twins, simple boss, easy to dodge if you are good, spasmatizm's flamethrower attack is a nightmare though 3.) destroyer, stay in its line of sight for 1 second and there's like 200 lasers in every single direction.
i havent been able to craft wings so i resorted to using the queen slime mount worked absolute wonders vs skeletron prime. just kept boucing on his head while my minions attacked him and if i needed to retreat, i just flew away
it's so hard to not use the brain, how I wish we could combine boss items, I'm playing Drunk world for an all achievements run, so, got both brain and scarf and I'm not sure I can run without either, lol I got ankh shield ready but it is understandable it is much more usefull for mapping than speciphic bosses unless they hard debuff frozen turtle will be the replacement here. I still haven't got the filosopher stone, mimic farming is too annoying... Also, I'll try orange zapinator, even without the 100% garanteed piercing due to randomness it's base damage is SO MUCH more than the crystal ball shard and I do think it is gonna help more than not with random stuff Also, could use a buff checklist here other than that, cool stuff, nice vid bro
Heres a tip too yall create a platform arena atleast 7 rows or more then if you dont have the clockwork rifle i suggest using the star cannon cuz it has high dps but if you have the clockwork rifle just use it but star cannon is not optional its just good but its not that good in the mechanical bosses
I’m playing a melee build and have a yoyo bag and a power glove and I am still struggling with destroyer and the twins the destroyer just guns me down and the twins laser I get down easily then when I get to the cursed flame twin I get shredded I have full titanium armor btw
@@VivRoyale1If you're still stuck, try a good piercing weapon in tandem with the sharpening station like the Drippler Crippler or even the Pre hardmode Nights Edge, those could do at least 600+ dps against the Destroyer.

Currently trying to beat my first mech boss. It is crazy because I almost tried everything I could. I have adamantite armor, shadowflame knife, ice sickle, night's edge and I have some fairly good equipment. I tried every boss but couldn't beat none. Hope I won't get stuck in this stage

Dont know if you mange it already. After defeating the wall, you obtain a hammer, go destroy some corruption altars, and your world will be gifted with titanium, mythril, and paladium
I'm sommuner and first I need to defeat the twins! First for optic staff all I use fighting the boss was spider armor and spider staff and I failed to many attempts!!?
If you don't have walls behind you and the bosses, the spiders may miss. If you don't want to make a massive wall, try getting another summon like the blade or sanguine staff.
Though this is probably too late, the method I used for Destroyer was being in a safety box and used Abigail with the Firecracker, it works surprisingly well.
Follow the back of the destroyer and stay above ground via platforms(just not too high) and keep hitting him. If you have terraspark boots or lightning boots you'll outrun the lasers because for some reason he has trouble aiming backwards and focus the probes when they come. They are by far the worst part as you can get distracted and not remember where the head is

Dude same, use buff potions and i recommend golden shower and crystal storm, defeated them after so many different loadouts but thats the one that worked for me in master mode

Coming from someone who just defeated the twins after months of trial over and over… Even if you have wings I really suggest the gravitation potion. I know it kept me running for a while and by the time it ran out the retiniser was all I had left and it was past its 2ct stage!
I also suggest iron skin, regeneration potion, thorns or inferno if you can get your hands on it, speed potions, and if you can get your hands on some food like a mango from a tree or a burger which improves all of your stats from a water of souls, be sure to save that for the fight to.
Dodge cursed flame don't make both phase 2 at same time I reccomend beating spasmatizm first since his cursed flame debuff is annoying Edit: wait u beaten moonlord?

You playing master mode?
Calamity bosses are In Practice easier because you are straight up faster in that mod. And you have easy access to the rod of discord
Make atleast 10 solid block at one layer in ur arena

Titanium armor's set bonus should allow you to auto kill them, giving you hearts to help you with the main Boss.
I use frost armour and daedolous stormbow with holy arrows 🗿

Starcannon works for me. I always spawn it at the top of my arena and the destroyer spawns in clear air and I can easily cheese it.

So skeletron prime came out of nowhere and kich my ass so i battled him again and kick my ass twice but then the destroyer spawn and my ass kick again

That's my strategy. Remember to buff up with iron skins and regeneration and other potions you find useful

You probably already figured this out but, NO. NOT ONE BIT. 99% of pre hard mode weapons don’t do SHIT against the destroyer.

Coming from someone who just defeated the twins after months of trial over and over…
Even if you have wings I really suggest the gravitation potion. I know it kept me running for a while and by the time it ran out the retiniser was all I had left and it was past its 2ct stage!
I also suggest iron skin, regeneration potion, thorns or inferno if you can get your hands on it, speed potions, and if you can get your hands on some food like a mango from a tree or a burger which improves all of your stats from a water of souls, be sure to save that for the fight to.

Dodge cursed flame don't make both phase 2 at same time I reccomend beating spasmatizm first since his cursed flame debuff is annoying
