Cherno Alpha was my favorite. An old school tank bruiser of a Jaeger. Low tech but as reliable as an old Cadillac.
I enjoyed all of the Jaegers in different ways, and wished we'd gotten to see a bit more of them in the first film.
I agree man, they all died somewhat easily and we barely got to see them use all their abilities in combat, and watching the origins and the information in these videos telling you what their weapons and stats are is like teasing you because you want to see them use all their weapons, and what if they did? Would they have survived longer or even taken out one of the kaijus

I like the level of professionalism you bring to your videos.
I love mecha, would have loved even an animated spin-off or preview that showed the other Jaegers in action before their final battles. I can certainly understand the expense limiting the life action, but it would be interesting to see how the others operated. While Gypsy is my favorite, I like all of them, wish we could have seen Crimson Typhoon in action a bit more.

Gipsy danger is the ultimate hero/kaiju killing machine
Striker Eureka was my favorite one even though I didn't like it weakness, being able to be shut down by an EMP, like in the Hong Kong battle. It was the newer, more powerful one that had more kills than Gipsy. Crimson Typhoon I liked better too for being the most agile out of the ones seen in the movie along with being newer and having a plasma cannon 3 times as strong.
I like gipsy danger the most because of its cool design

Gipsy and Cherno for me. I loved Cherno because it fought Kaijus hand-to-hand with no weapons [far as I can tell].
His "weapons" are his electrical fist capabke of releasing 450 KV of energy into a Kaiju and the Incinerators mounted on to the Jaeger sholderns just on the side of Nuclear Reactor.
Gipsy Danger is my favourite Jaeger, still I like all his comarades, Striker Eureka, Crimson Typhoon and Cherno Alpha, but Gipsy Danger has been my favourite since i saw the film trailer; talking about similarities between Jaegers I think that Gipsy Danger and Striker Eureka share some similarities, I'm not saying that they have identical parts, just to be clear, their similarities are the chest armor that in the upper part can be easly seen where it's composed by two specuar parts and the pistons under the Jaegers sholderns, because if you watch closely in the Battle of Victoria Harbor when Striker lifts Otachi you can see that the MK V Jaeger has 3/4 (don't remeber if they're actually 3 or 4) pistons that in the middle of each is present a small wheel like articulation; Gipsy Danger instead when is landed behind Leatherback in the upfront view you can see that the old MK III has only 1 big piston that has in the middle 1 big wheel like artuculation.
It really stuck out like a sore thumb to me when they finally revealed the Jaegers had enormous bladed weapons. While it was fun to watch giant robots and monsters have an MMA match, tactically it was ridiculous and cost them the lives of several Jaegers and crew.
Cherno was boss
Crimson Typhoon and Coyote Tango are my favourite Jaegers. I can't decide.
I believe the best was strike eureka.

I loved both films jeagers. Danger and avenger are so cool. One a big tough old one and the other the spunky brawler.
