Thank you for this journey in the past I serve at VCB with task Force hotel for Dewey canyon in several other operations to support 9th Marines. Waiting on God thankful to be here. Semper Fi
At 1:27, I'm almost certain the Equip Operator on the roller was a member of MCB 7. I was a surveyor in MCB 7, tdy to LZ Vandergrift (LZ Stud), surveyed rt 9 from LZ Stud to the rockpile. Met a lot of great Marines there!
I remember the sign at Cam lo that said village was off limits to US military personnel and I remember the bridge at Cam lo. I remember the bridge washing out in September or October 1968. We were at Con Thein or cam lo when the bridge washed out.
Yes winter of 68 with the 1/9 marines going up to Lz Stud for operation Dewey Canyon 18 years old then almost 70 now shot in the A Shau valley February 18 69
Spring-fall 1969 MCB 53 was paving Route 9. Camp including rock crushers was at Vinh Dai. Also, shared the camp with Marine tank company and Army duster company.
At 2:29 min is the Medical building where USN Corpsman Doc Rice and I did 3 "Med Cap"s at Dong Ha. Doc Rice was wounded at Camp Carroll 4 months later on Feb 2nd 1968 TET. I visited him in Cincinnati OH last June 2018. He is very sick and is 77 now. I hadn't seen him in a little over 50 years. Here is his Facebook ; facebook.com/phil.rice.73 He is ½ Indian, from Munsee tribe of the Lenape Nation eastern Pennsylvania. thanks mike v

I was a Corpsman with that tank unit (Bravo Co. 3rd Tanks) at that time. Used to eat at your mess hall now and then.

My husband was at camp carrol. Army arty. March 67. Fall. 67. Terry. Jackson
Looks like almost everybody has an M-14, so, I'd venture a guess and say that it was shot prior to '67.
At 1:27 is a man from MCB 7. I know the face but, the name escapes me. Pepe EA2
