      Thanks. Duck diving is the same. Board stays pretty normal but I guess if it was deflated a bit it may be more difficult…

    Yesss!!! Love it! So happy to see mats gaining some traction. Over the years ppl had started to make-shift mats themselves. This thing is nice!!

    The main reason for me to buy this inflatable board is for transport . I’ve just come back from the Caribbean with my family . Not a surf trip , just winter sun . I wish I had this board rolled up in my suitcase , would have been absolutely perfect for the small shore break where we were staying and for my kids to have fun on . I’ll buy one and take from now on to any destination we go on a family holiday

    One to add to the collection. Definately be looking at one after my christmas splurge. Atm the Matt Lakey 'Diverse" next purchase for that old school fred booth quest vibe.

    I bought one of these from one of the other brands which sell them. Prices seem to depend on the brand, but mine was £60 and l think they are basically the same board. Yet to try it out, but figured it will be a good alternative in less pokey waves and easy to travel with, however once you've used it once, it won't deflate enough to get back in the bag provided.

    • @iaincampbell_
      @iaincampbell_  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You have to roll them up pretty tight to fit nicely back into the bag…

    • @iaincampbell_

      Pretty much the same as a normal board. Although if you deflate it, it may be different.

  • @garthjohnson88
    @garthjohnson88 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    My issue was the inability to duck dive the thing. Made it unfeasible for me. I can see how at a point break with easy channels it could work.

    I am planning bikepacking trip to explore some remote coastlines and this seems to be a great alternative than carrying a trailer + rigid board. I understand that a rigid board would still be the best option in some 5-6 ft waves but my question: would this board still allow for riding such more advanced waves ? I would just be happy to do some carves, spins and simple roll with it in decent waves, no fency ARS

      I think that’s an epic idea. It would be an absolute blast in the small fun conditions!

    Thinking about getting an NRG+ board as I often surf in cool-cold water. Would you say that I am making the right choice as my water temps are usually between 55-30 degrees Fahrenheit for the majority of the year? Also, would you say there is a noticeable difference? I currently use a Science Loaded PP board.

    • @iaincampbell_
      @iaincampbell_  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      This all depends on your level and how it works for you. Personally I don’t enjoy the NRG cores but a lot of people do use them. I’ve just ordered one for next year to try in the colder water but it’s still a while until I get there.
      Bodyboards are pretty personal and feelings are different. I say just whatever works for you, go with it.

    Hey, so 38 inch that's obviously for little kids and 41 is for small humans and 46 inch must be made for shaquil O'Neil. You haven't made it easy to market it to the sizes that people would buy it. Wouldn't it make sense to make a mat in a more functional or standard bodyboard sizes.

    • @iaincampbell_
      @iaincampbell_  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Sure, I’m not sure what the point of those sizes were but they are meant for fun and not meant for high performance.

    • @nathannewman7337
      @nathannewman7337 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It's harder to have fun on boards that are too small or too big. Yeah I agree they aren't made for riding waves more of a gimmick. Be good if they did make them in a normal size or made them so they worked in real surf. Must be why they come in those random sizes.
